A record turnout at this year’s AGM and a special mention to a few very important people.

Paul Dredge and Kev Warner who coached the U18 Griffin’s from their inception at U7 all the way through to U18s, a tremendous achievement and an emotional end to such a brilliant journey.

U13 Hares coached by Garry Porter and Ian Hamilton who won Team/Coaches of the Year for their league title win and 17 game unbeaten run.

Our Club Person of the Year and newly appointed Vice Chair Nicki Leaper for her significant contributions to the girls game and our 60th anniversary year celebrations.

Our Founders Award that was unanimously awarded to Kev Warner for his outstanding contributions not only as a volunteer coach (U7-U18) but for a decade as Welfare Officer.

Thanks to everyone that attended and to our volunteer coaches, team admins, committee and parents that played such a huge part this season in enabling 650+ kids to play, enjoy and love their football - see you all at Club Day!

It is with great sadness to announce that one of our founder members Mike Tate has recently passed away.

Mike was Club Secretary for the first 12 years of the clubs formation and was a driving force in its early years.

His father was the Treasurer and his brother Ralph was the Goalkeeper, a real family affair, and without him the club wouldn’t have grown into what it is today.

Claygate Royals FC send our sincere condolences to the friends and family of Mike.

The Club Shop is open one final time before Club Day and the season ends, so grab your summer merch and special edition 60th anniversary tops. Limited sizes remain so get yours fast!

Come and find us on Claygate Rec from 9:30-12:30 this Sunday.

We will also be taking donations of clean, used second hand kit and boots for the Club Swap Shop.
