We’re very proud of Poppy’s dad, Matt, and his new singing career as part of The Hawkstone Farmer’s Choir!

If you were in any doubt that these are real farmers, we can vouch for them! Matt produces top quality lambs, which we are proud to supply, as well as our Christmas beef. He also very kindly lets us keep our pigs in the scrubby corners, and puts up with our Christmas turkeys!

Every meal you have relies on a farmer, and in the current climate the best choice you can make is to choose to support British production. Give them your vote in the Britain’s Got Talent semi-finals, but also by what you choose to put on your plate.

Farmers - this one’s for you!

We’re hosting 2 butchery demo days in March to show some different cuts and different ways to maximise returns from Farmgate sales. There’s also lunch and plenty of tea & coffee included, so at the very least you’ll go home well-fed! This is open to anyone who is looking to start selling direct or is already established but would like to learn a bit more about the butchery process. It would suit anyone selling from the farm whether that be in vending machines, through box schemes, or even with their own farm shop.
