Cheam Fields Club's ‘Rusty Rackets’ tennis courses are restarting this autumn. Back by popular demand! These courses are perfect for anyone who wants to reconnect with tennis, beginners with limited experience, improvers, and those who want to build skills and confidence.
Our friendly LTA - Tennis For Britain accredited coach provides an easy learning and fun environment for all.
The five-week, one-hour, group sessions will be held on Tuesday evenings, from 7 pm to 8 pm; and Friday afternoons from 12 noon to 1 pm.

Cheam Fields Club’s first Pickleball American Tournament will take place on Saturday, September 5, from 9 am to 11 am. Entry costs £5 and includes refreshments. Lots of fun, and prizes for the winners. An entry poll will be posted soon on Cheam Fields Club’s Pickleball WhatsApp Community group.

Cheam Fields Club's popular Mixed Doubles Handicap Tournament for 2026 is about to launch. The first rounds will begin in early September, with the Cup and Plate finals taking place on Saturday morning, October 31. Please enter as an individual player, and mixed pairs will be allocated.
HURRY, it's going to be fun, and entries close on August 21.

We’re holding a Pickle-athon at Cheam Fields Club on Saturday, July 25 to celebrate the opening of our newly marked pickleball courts. Big thanks to The Eyesmith, the Cheam-based optometrists, opticians, and contact lens experts, for sponsoring the work.
We’re aiming for 12 hours of continuous play in one-hour slots from 9 am to 9 pm, with games and prizes for all the family. Whether you’re a first-timer or a regular player, it’s going to be a fun day.
