‼️A difficult announcement regarding 3 Valleys Riding Club final STARS show‼️

With a heavy heart, we’ve had no option but to cancel our final STARS show of the year.

This hasn’t been an easy decision, and we understand the disappointment it will cause. Unfortunately, entries are currently less than half the number needed to break even, the lowest we’ve received since starting STARS five years ago.

We appreciate that clashes, heat, illness concerns and other factors have contributed, but we simply cannot justify running the show at such a significant loss.

We also appreciate that many of you have already accumulated points throughout the season, and in most classes we have a clear leader. I will be in touch with those competitors directly regarding qualification.

All entries will be refunded by horsevents.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our STARS shows over the past five years. We’re truly sorry to those who were looking forward to the final show and appreciate your understanding. ❤️

Due to withdrawals the following spaces have become available to ride for 3 Valleys at the Combined Training (Dressage and SJ) and Combined Challenge (SJ and XC) at Northallerton EC this weekend. Message me asap if you would like to take one 😊

- 70 cm and Novice 2 CT- team (jnr or Snr)
- 80 cm Senior CC - team
- 90 cm and Prelim 2 CT- team (jnr or Snr)

🏇❤️ BRC Horse Trials Championships 2026 ❤️🏇

Well… where do we start?!

After a 5-hour journey, an incredible atmosphere, massive jumps, challenging courses, and some unbelievable southern heat 🥵🤣, our 3 Valleys Riding Club members were absolutely on fire! 🔥

Every rider tackled each phase with determination, courage, and outstanding horsemanship. Every single one of them did themselves, their horses, and the club incredibly proud. 💙💛

A huge thank you also goes to everyone who supported us—whether you travelled with the team or cheered us on from home. Your encouragement means so much, and we truly appreciate every message and every cheer.

This weekend was full of personal bests, fantastic dressage scores, brilliant cross-country and show jumping rounds, and some truly incredible individual and team results. We couldn’t be prouder!

📣 Important Update – 27th June 3 Valleys Stars Show ‼️ Cancelled ‼️

Sadly, the 27th June 3 Valleys Stars Show has been cancelled. 😞

We have spoken to STARS and with people’s concerns around the equine influenza, they are happy we run on just the 3 shows.

Our next show will now be 1st August.

Entries will be automatically transferred unless you’re unable to attend. If you can’t make it, please message me on Facebook for a refund.

We’re very sorry for the short notice – this series has always held amazing numbers, and it’s simply not viable to run on what we have. We really do appreciate those who do support!

Thank you for your understanding and support. We hope to see you all on the 1st!!

Showjumping round up from Area 2 SJ Summer Qualifiers.

What a fantastic day for our showjumping teams and individuals! It was a warm day, the horseflies were out in force, and the ground was a little slippery, but you all rode brilliantly.

Whether you were a seasoned Riding Club competitor or new to the sport, every single one of you did yourselves and the club proud. The team spirit throughout the day was amazing, and it was so lovely to see everyone encouraging and supporting each other.

A special shout-out goes to our 80cm Juniors, who cheered every teammate around the course and showed fantastic support from start to finish. You should all be very proud! ❤️

🏆 60cm Mixed Team – 2nd Place: Ellie, Rose & Amy 🎉

🏆 70cm Junior – Dottie 1st Place and qualified for the Championships! 🎉

🏆 70cm Senior – Emily 2nd Place 🎉

It was a busy qualifier day at Ivesley Equestrian Centre yesterday for 3 Valleys Riding Club members at the BRC Area 2 Show Jumping and Dressage Summer Qualifiers! Almost 50 tests ridden and rounds jumped between you all 🥵- you certainly kept both Team Managers on their toes. Thank you to Leanne and Jo, team manager is a busy role and we couldn’t do it without you!

Well done to everyone competing- we had some brilliant results across the club with several members qualifying for the BRC Summer Champs at Lincoln 🎉😀.

Dressage results:

🥈 Junior Grassroots team of Ella Grace Ryder, Harriet Stone, Alexis Courtney and Connie Colling were second 😀 with Alexis and Harriet also placing second 🥈in their arenas and Ella 3rd in hers 🥉

🥇Alexis Courtney won her individual intro, qualifying direcctly for champs 🤩
🥉Ella Grace Ryder was 3rd in her individual Intro test

🐴 Open mixed team of Sue Soley, Tally Talitha Hayward, Jessica Swift and Emilly Thane placed team 5th against stiff competition with Sue placing 2nd in her Elementary test, Tally 3rd in her test and Emilly 5th in her arena too.

We had 2 Intermediate Senior teams.

❤️The Red team of Emily Bowman, Emilly Thane, Jessica Swift and Jean Stanley placed team 4th with Jess and Jean both placing 4th.
💙The Blue team of Emily Bowman, Kim Scott, Alexx Hardy and Tally Hayward came team 5th with Tally placing 2nd in her test and Kim 6th.

🥉Emily Bowman also did a lovely Prelim test for an individual 3rd
🥉Jean Stanley did another lovely Prelim for 3rd in the Veteran rider class
🥇Sue Soley won 🤩 the Veteran Rider Novice test- Taking a champs qualifying spot.

🤞Fingers crossed for some wildcards- loads of members just one spot behind a direct qualifying place on the day so hoping BRC might want to take a few more members to champs 🤞
