Splash Central is a culmination of 7 years hard work. Splash Swim School started first, providing over 3's lessons in Barry, a few years later, Baby Splash started its Parent and Baby swimming programme in Penarth. The overwhelming success of Splash, led us to looking for an opportunity to have our own pool, purely for the provision of water based classes. A few attempts of achieving this, over th

e last 2 years, were always met by stumbling blocks. Happily, we can now confirm that Splash Central on Ocean Way, Cardiff is now open! We aim to start with the provision of both our Over 3's Learn to Swim programme as well as our Parent and Baby Swimming programme, however, we will be adding various water based classes to our Splash Central schedule in the coming months. We will be offering the same high standard of lessons that have become accustomed with Baby Splash, with fully qualified Parent and Baby instructors who are full of compassion, energy and knowledge. A 10 week course costs £120. Coupled with this, will be offering the same high standard lessons that are synonymous with our Over 3's lessons – a ratio of 6 children to 1 instructor (usually 6:2 for our beginner classes). All of our water based instructors are qualified to the Swimming Teachers Association standard, insured and DBS checked. Lessons are £10 per week, per half an hour lessons, usually payable in blocks of 10 weeks (£100). We look forward to welcoming you to our new venue. Please get in touch to book.

🏊‍♀️ SUMMER SWIMMING CRASH COURSES ARE HERE! 🏊‍♂️

Looking to start your child's swimming journey but not sure where to begin? Come along to Splash Central's Summer Crash Courses and give your child the best possible start in the water!

Our intensive courses consist of 30-minute swimming lessons over 5 consecutive days, helping children build confidence and develop their swimming skills quickly in a fun and supportive environment.

🌊 Week 3: Monday 3rd August – Friday 7th August
🌊 Week 5: Monday 17th August – Friday 21st August

Swimming is a life saving skill and regular practice is key to building confidence in the water. Our Crash Courses are designed to give children a real boost in a short space of time, helping them progress faster, improve technique, and grow in confidence.
