‼️Gwalia United summer camps are back!!‼️

Gwalia United are thrilled to announce our Summer Football Camps for Girls, offering five exciting weeks of football, fun and friendship throughout the school holidays!

Taking place across five sets of dates during July and August, the camps are open to players in the following age categories:

U8s – current school years 2 & 3
U10s – current school years 4 & 5
U12s – current school years 6 & 7
Each camp week offers a mix of skill development, small-sided games, and player-led challenges delivered in Gwalia’s positive, inclusive environment – perfect for girls of all abilities who love the game. 📅 Camp Dates:

Week 1: 21st & 22nd July
Week 2: 4th & 5th August
Week 3: 11th & 12th August

Players can attend either day or both days in any week that suits.

💷 Prices:

£25 for one day
£48 for both days in the same week

Cofiwch Aberfan

Today we pause to remember the 116 children and 28 adults who were killed when a coal tip crashed down on Pantglas junior school and surrounding houses.

The clock stopped at 9:13 on October 21st 1966.

We will never forget them 🖤

At the end of the season a number of “junior and mini Dragons” were selected to trial with Cardiff & Vale SFA for the 2024-25 season.
To be nominated is an achievement itself and something to be very proud off. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

After the trial we knew a few players were selected to attend an extended phase of sessions before final decisions were made. Today those players were all notified that they had been selected and will be part of the county representative squads for next season.

Congratulations girls - we are super proud of you

Join us on Friday nights at Ocean Park Arena with our Dragons Training Centre Development session for Girls aged 8-16. These sessions are suitable for all abilities without any trial process as we focus on player development.

The seasion is run by Cardiff City Ladies FC as part of their community programme inspiring our future 🌟. All coaches are fully qualified and have valid CRB and first aid qualifications.
