Ice Arena Wales is the keystone to the £400m International Sports Village (ISV) being developed at Cardiff Bay. When completed in June 2015 it will be the focus for ice sports in the UK, boasting two ice pads and seating for 3,000 spectators. Neighbouring the state-of-the-art Ice Arena will be a 200 metre real snow indoor ski slope, Europe’s largest snow play area, along with hotels, bars, restaurants and retailing and Wales’ tallest tower. With its unique waterfront setting, the International Sports Village will become the flagship destination for winter sports in the UK.
