šŸŒ The Menopause Rebrandā„¢ To thrive.

From Burnout to British Vogue..... My Story isn’t just about transformation. It’s about what happens when a woman finally invests in herself. I’m Sahir, Founder of SAE Empower Coaching where fitness meets mindset, and Menopause becomes a rebirth, not a breakdown. I’m a Menopause Coach, Public Speaker, Pilates Teacher, Personal Trainer, Pelvic Floor & Endometriosis Coach, and Content Creator and a

proud Pakistani grandmother who rocks pull-ups and handstands! šŸ’ŖšŸ½
But my life didn’t always look like this.
15 years ago, I was burnt out, depleted, and disconnected from my body. I was living with severe endometriosis, disabling migraines, and a heart condition, barely surviving. After being hospitalised with dangerously low iron and needing blood transfusions, I had a truth moment: no one was coming to save me. That was my turning point. I chose to invest in my health every single day, through movement, mindset, and nourishment. Small steps led to radical transformation. As I healed, I realised I wasn’t alone, so many women, especially in ethnic communities, were struggling in silence. In 2015, I launched SAE Pilates and Fitness to support women like me, overwhelmed, unseen, and burnt out. Now, nearly a decade on, my brand has evolved , just like I have. Introducing SAE Empower Coaching: a powerful rebrand built on the belief that you are your most powerful investment. Through my SAE Empower Method, I help midlife women reset their energy, balance hormones, overcome burnout, and reclaim their confidence, energy and strength, physically, mentally, and emotionally. Because:
✨ You are not broken. You are becoming.✨ You are not invisible. You are invincible.✨ You are not past it. You are a powerhouse. Menopause is not the end… It’sthe beginning. A powerful reset. A time to rise. Let’s rewrite the narrative, together.

ā€œI don’t feel at home in my body anymore.ā€

It’s a sentence I’ve heard from so many women.

Women navigating menopause.

Women recovering from surgery.

Women living with endometriosis.

Women carrying years of over giving, stress, responsibility and self-sacrifice.

Women who have spent so long looking after everyone else that they’ve lost connection with themselves.

The interesting thing is that most women think the problem is their body.

So they try harder.

They diet.

They start another plan.

They promise themselves they’ll be ā€œgoodā€ from Monday.

But what if the problem isn’t your body?

What if years of pain, stress, self-doubt and over giving have simply taught you to stop trusting it?

Because when you stop trusting your body, it’s hard to know where to begin.

That’s what I’ve had to learn through over 15 years of living with endometriosis, adenomyosis, severe migraine, a heart condition, surgery, recovery and surgical menopause.

Not how to punish my body.

How to support it.

How to listen to it.

How to rebuild trust in it.

How to love it.

One step at a time.

That’s exactly why I created EMPOWER Movement Coaching.

Not to help women train harder.

To help them:

Reconnect to their body.
Rebuild Strength.
Rise With Confidence.

And feel at home in themselves again.

If you’re tired of starting over and you’re ready to start rebuilding, DM EMPOWER. šŸ’›

When people see strength returning after surgery, they often assume it started with workouts.

It didn’t.

My rebuild began with something much quieter.

Breathing again.

Helping my nervous system feel safe moving.

Releasing tension in my pelvic floor before trying to strengthen it.

Reconnecting my deep core.

Then slowly integrating everything back together through controlled movement.

Only once those foundations were in place could strength begin to return.

This is what rebuilding properly looks like.

Not rushing.

Not forcing.

Not punishing yourself.

Just giving your body what it needs, when it needs it.

Over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing exactly how I rebuilt from the ground up.

09/06/2026

One of the hardest parts of this past year wasn’t the surgery.

It wasn’t the recovery.

It wasn’t even the surgical menopause.

It was looking in the mirror and feeling disconnected from the woman looking back at me.

Nobody really talks about that part.

The identity shift.

The grief.

The confusion.

The feeling that you’ve somehow become a stranger to yourself.

What I’ve learned is that rebuilding isn’t just physical.

It’s emotional.

Mental.

Sometimes even spiritual.

It’s learning to trust your body again.

To listen to yourself again.

To stop measuring yourself against who you used to be.

This is why rebuilding has become such a big part of the work I do with women.

Because rebuilding isn’t just about getting stronger.

It’s about learning to trust yourself again.

Because the goal isn’t to go back.

The goal is to move forward carrying everything you’ve learned.

If you’re in a season of rebuilding right now, be patient with yourself.

Not everything that feels like an ending is a loss.

Sometimes it’s simply the beginning of a new chapter.

And sometimes the woman you’re becoming is even stronger than the one you thought you’d lost. šŸ’›

What a day…..

TEDx Moseley was genuinely one of the most inspiring events I’ve attended.

The organisers absolutely smashed it out of the park. Every detail was thoughtful, meticulously planned and executed. The atmosphere was incredible, and the speakers were exceptional.

A special shoutout to the hospitality team who were friendly and helpful all day. for the delicious bakes and I had far too much of both!

I came away with something from every single talk. Different stories, different experiences, different perspectives, but all powerful and thought provoking.

After the year I’ve had, I didn’t realise quite how much I needed to sit in a room full of people sharing stories, journeys, grief, vulnerability, hope and courage. It felt inspiring, but if I’m honest, it also felt deeply healing and just what I needed.

It was wonderful to reconnect with some incredible women and meet some of my amazing online community in person. (Please if you ever see me in person don’t be shy to say hello!)

A special thank you to and the entire team for creating such a memorable day.

A huge congratulations to all of the speakers. A special mention to who are doing incredibly important work in the areas of women’s health, trauma and empowerment. They are not only changing conversations for women today, but helping create a better future for the generations that follow.

The day reminded me of something I’ve come to believe deeply….

Every single one of us has a story.

And often, the toughest chapters of our lives, the pain, the setbacks, the challenges and the trauma are the very things that shape us and our purpose.

When we find the courage to share our stories, we don’t just heal ourselves….

We create space for other people to heal too.

And that’s how change begins.

Thank you šŸ’›

I turn 50 next month.

There is so much I wish I could go back and tell the 25 year old version of myself.

I feel more confident, more comfortable in my own skin, and more certain of who I am than I ever have before.

Not because life has been easy.

Quite the opposite.

The last 15 years and especially this last year has brought health challenges, surgery, setbacks, grief, lessons and a lot of rebuilding.

But they’ve also taught me something important.

Your age doesn’t define what you’re capable of.

Your mindset does.

Your willingness to keep showing up for yourself does.

At nearly 50, I know myself better than I ever have, I understand myself and I know what I will tolerate and what I won’t.

I’m focused on becoming the strongest, healthiest and happiest and most confident version of myself.

I don’t need anyone to like me because I like me….

And if there’s one thing I hope women see when they look at me, it’s this:

It is never too late.

Not to start.
Not to rebuild.
Not to invest in yourself.

I can’t believe it’s been a year since this campaign with .uk .de_las_heras

Looking back at this now feels quite emotional.

At the time, I was sharing my story and advocating for women’s health.

What I didn’t know was that within months I’d be facing some of the biggest health challenges of my life.

Since then, there’s been surgery, recovery, surgical menopause, grief, healing and rebuilding.

There have been moments when I felt stronger than ever and moments when I barely recognised myself.

But if there’s one thing this journey has reinforced, it’s this:

Turning my pain into purpose was one of the best decisions I ever made.

What started over a decade ago as a personal health journey has grown into something so much bigger than I could have imagined.

It’s shaped the woman I am today.

A woman with more resilience, perspective and compassion than I ever had before.

And for that, I’m grateful.
