Whether you’re new to golf or looking to improve your game, our next 6-week ladies coaching programme is the perfect opportunity to learn in a fun, friendly and supportive environment.

One of the most overlooked pieces of the backswing: arm depth.

If the arms work too much out in front of the body, it becomes difficult to shallow the club and deliver it consistently through impact.

In this lesson, we’re working on getting the trail arm and hands deeper in the backswing so the club can approach the ball from a better position, improving strike quality, consistency, and power.

Struggling with fat and thin chip shots?

A common cause is losing height through impact. As the body dips and collapses, there’s no room for the arms to swing freely, leading to inconsistent contact.

✅ Feel tall through the strike

Ever wondered how the pros create that effortless power through impact? Take a look at Matt Fitzpatrick working with his coach 👇

Here’s Fitzpatrick is pulling the left foot back through the ball during the strike.

It might look exaggerated, but that’s the point.

👉 This drill is all about teaching your body to use the ground properly
👉 It helps you push, rotate, and clear your left side dynamically
👉 And it stops you getting “stuck” through impact

💡 What’s really happening:
By pulling that left foot back, you’re forcing your body to:
• Push into the ground
• Rotate through your lead side
• Keep the club moving with speed and freedom

🔥 Try this if you struggle with:
❌ Getting stuck
❌ Weak, glancing strikes
❌ Lack of rotation

Looking to get into golf or improve your skills in a relaxed and friendly environment? Our Ladies Improvers sessions are the perfect place to start.

Whether you’re completely new to the game or already playing and want to build confidence and improve your skills, these sessions are designed to help you learn, practise and enjoy the game alongside other like-minded ladies.
