Owing to a change of personal circumstances and some increased safety regulations from British Canoeing that will take time to implement, we regret to inform you that we will not be in a position to offer canoeing sessions this season.

For those customers in the possession of valid gift vouchers, we will be contacting you as soon as possible to discuss reimbursement.

For those wishing to try canoeing for the first time or wishing to continue their canoeing journey please consider one of the many providers approved by British Canoeing.

The brilliant weather continued this afternoon as Rebecca, Harry and Les joined us on the Trent and Mersey Canal in Rugeley.

Rebecca and Harry had paddled previously but this was some time ago. Despite this they very quickly displayed excellent teamwork and skills to make their session a safe and enjoyable paddle.

Les continued to perfect his skills and was a great support in on water safety too. Les has been working hard on his backwards paddling technique and today he demonstrated excellent skills in this.

Well done to all paddlers and thank you again for your bookings.

This weekend we took to the water with amazing staff from the NHS as part of a staff team building activity.

Some paddlers had experienced canoeing before whilst for others it was their first time. The weather was perfect and fun and enjoyment was had by all. A true display of teamwork, communication and an appetite to learn made for a fantastic session.

During the session we spent time collecting litter from the canal, we even found a message in a bottle from Captain Jack Sparrow!!

A huge thanks to all paddlers, you were all awesome 👏

Being sent photos and receiving kind feedback from paddlers is always warming to see and much appreciated to receive.

These photos were sent to us from Alison's family after their Christmas Voucher spending padding session last weekend.

This is another illustration of the fun and enjoyment canoeing can provide as part of maintaining and developing mental and physical fitness and for creating lasting happy memories.
