Six Carnies were flying the flag for Carn Runners at the Bude Lifeboat Run last night. 🏃💙💛

A huge well done to everyone who took part, with special congratulations to Peter and Dennis for picking up age category prizes! 🏆👏

It was a beautiful evening for running and racing by the coast, although the trip home turned into a bit more of an adventure than expected! 😅

With the A39 closed at Wadebridge, then the A30 closed at Lanivet, followed by the A390 being shut near Truro, what should have been a straightforward journey became an unwanted tour of Cornwall! 🚗🗺️

After diversions through Bodmin, St Austell, Trispen and Carland Cross, everyone eventually made it home just after midnight.

Great running, great results, and a memorable journey home for all the wrong reasons! 😂💪

Now THAT was a close one! 😅🏃‍♂️💙💛

Huge congratulations to Tony Chapman, who took on the notoriously tough Dartmoor Discovery 50K this weekend.

After battling the distance, the hills and the clock, Tony crossed the finish line with just 2 minutes to spare before the cut-off! ⏱️

Tony described it as "almost as tough as my first ever marathon" — and anyone who has tackled a long-distance event knows exactly what that means.

A fantastic effort and yet another example of Tony showing he has the legs (and determination!) for these challenging endurance races 👏

44 miles of Cornish coast path. 🌧️💨🏃‍♂️

The Classic Quarter is tough at the best of times, but this year's runners had to battle heavy rain, strong winds and some truly testing conditions.

A wet and soggy track session tonight, but that didn’t stop us getting the work done! 💪🏃

Despite the weather, there was plenty of effort, plenty of smiles, and some great running form practice to help make us stronger and more efficient runners.

Sometimes the toughest sessions are the ones that leave you feeling the most accomplished. Well done everyone who braved the rain! 🌧️👏

Great West Run in the heat! ☀️🏃‍♂️

Huge well done to Mike, who took on the Great West Run half marathon in Exeter.

With temperatures around 28 degrees, it was a hot one, but Mike still put in a strong run and finished in 2:11 👏

Copper Coast Trail Half Marathon 💙💛

Well done to Elena and Janet, who flew the Carn flag on the Copper Coast Trail from Portreath to Devoran 🙌

What used to be an 11-miler had a few extra miles added this year, making it a full half marathon challenge!

Perfect running weather, good trails and a lovely day out — brilliant running both 👏
