⚽️ Charity Football Match -Supporting Man Down 💛🖤

Join us on Sunday 16th August at Grouter Park, Troon for a fantastic afternoon of football as Greenmount Carpets take on Biffa Truro, all in aid of the incredible Man Down Charity.

Man Down is a Cornwall-based charity working tirelessly to support men’s mental health and encourage people to talk about it. Every show of support helps raise awareness and vital funds for this amazing cause.

Bring your family and friends, enjoy a great game, and help make a difference. The clubhouse will be open serving hot and cold drinks throughout the afternoon.

We’re delighted to have been selected to take part in the Tesco Stronger Starts Blue Token Scheme at Camborne Tesco! 💙

There are some fantastic community projects taking part, but we’d really appreciate your support. If you’re shopping in Camborne Tesco, please remember to collect your blue token at the till and pop it into the Troon AFC Youth slot.

🛒 One blue token is given per transaction
📅 Voting runs until the end of November 2026

We’ve been fortunate enough to benefit from this scheme in previous years, and the funding has made a real difference to our club, helping us provide more opportunities for our young players.

Attention lovely tournament visitors! 🚗

THERE IS A ROAD CLOSURE IN TROON.

PLEASE ALLOW EXTRA TIME WHEN PLANNING YOUR
JOURNEY AND OBSERVE THE ONE WAY SYSTEM DESCRIBED BELOW, DESIGNED TO MINIMISE CONGESTION AND INCONVENIENCE TO OUR NEIGHBOURS:

IN-See the green arrows on the map. The route is via the village centre, which is not currently directly accessible from Camborne.

Take the Treslothan diversion or enter via the road to Four Lanes or Praze, but NOT via Bolenowe. Bolenowe is the OUT route.

On arrival, the pitches and clubhouse will be located on your right-hand side.

OUT-When leaving the club, please turn immediately right and depart via Bolenowe, following the red route.

PLEASE be considerate of local residents when approaching and leaving the club. We want the
weekend to be enjoyable for everyone, including those who are not attending the football
tournament.
