It's matchday as your new-look Rams make their first home appearance of the summer in tonight's penultimate pre-season outing.

Cheer on your new manager Rob Henry and the lads as we take on last season's play-off winners, Padiham.

🚨 PARKING🚨

Due to adjacent building works, cricket being played as well as a function at Ramsbottom Cricket Club, parking at the ground is strictly for players and officials only.

Could spectators please park away from the ground in the town centre car parks (drivers are advised to check any time limits) or in the various side streets, all of which are no more than 5-10 minutes walk away but please be mindful of local residents and businesses.

Also be aware that the access road to the club has a no parking policy carrying a fine of £100. Please do not park on this road.

💚🏏 Rammy Duo Rewrite the Record Books!

What an incredible achievement for two of our very own Rammy girls this week.

Scarlett Anderson (17) and Manvi Rajshetty (15) rewrote the Lancashire record books this week while opening the batting for Lancashire U18 Girls against Derbyshire.

The pair put together a phenomenal 273-run opening partnership before Manvi was dismissed for a superb 129 – a stand that is now the highest partnership in any Lancashire Girls fixture.

Scarlett then went on to produce a truly remarkable innings of 177 from just 159 balls.

An outstanding achievement from two talented young cricketers.

🏏 U11 Match Report | Ramsbottom CC vs Walshaw CC 🏏

A tough one for our U11s this week, who fell just short against Walshaw CC, losing by 10 runs.

After winning the toss and choosing to field, the boys produced an outstanding bowling display to restrict Walshaw to 95/7.

Harry Huntington starred with a superb 3/1 from 2 overs, while Abdullah Qamar claimed 2/7.
Wickets for Charlie Hall and Luke Whitworth capped off a disciplined team performance.

In reply, Rammy finished on 85/7. Fynlo Alcock and Charlie Hall top-scored with 8 runs apiece, with useful contributions from Freddie Faulkner and Harry King.

A few unfortunate run outs proved costly in what was a closely fought contest, but there were plenty of positives to take away. The effort, attitude and bowling performance were first class, and the boys will be looking to bounce back in the next group game. 💚🐏
