Me and Taigh are really proud of the lads today. Playing a very good team who have come down a division. There was no doubt that we were the better team in the first half and we was unlucky not to be leading. Athertons quality shown in the 2nd half and that got them over the line

Man of the match has gone to 2 players again this week. Kris absolutely bossed the midfield and had a great goal to top off his performance

The other has to go to Eli. So great to have him back today and he pulled off some world class saves. What a keeper

Can't fault the lads. They were brilliant all over the pitch. Defence solid, midfield hard working and creative and attackers clinical. This was against a team that last year was on a par with us. Just shows how much the lads have improved. Great to see so many assists too. Just shows we are playing as a team

Man of the match: well this could have gone to a number of players but I have gone for 2 players today. Corey edged it as the back. He was commanding and solid all game. The other was Endurance. Not just for his great attacking play but he was really good at getting back to help the defence
Well done to both of them and to the rest of the team for a fantastic performance

Woodbank 3 - 2 Old Riv Jets

Well that was a game of two halves. Thought we were fantastic in the first half but they was the best team in the second half. We defended really well and its always a sign of a good team to grind out a result when we are not at our best

Man of the match: didn't think anyone deserved it in the second half but had to go to Jamie in the first half. His hold up play and passing was second to none and to top it off with an outside the box finish in to the top corner to grab the first goal

Well that was hard to take. Leading for 80% of the game and losing with the last kick of the game

We need to take big positives from this game. They are the second best team in the league and they beat us 8-2 earlier on in the season so look how far we have come

I thought we battled really well but didn't take our chances. The game should have been out of sight

I have given the whole team man of the match as they all fought so well

What a great performance and birthday present to me. Our opposition were 2nd in the league and we torn them apart from start to the final whistle

The lads delivered everything we asked of them. A fast start, high line, pressure, intensity and aggression. Me and Taigh couldn't be prouder of every single player

There could have been so many man of the matches today but I selected two that stood out for me. Firstly to Brandon. That was him at his best, tacking, pace and a couple of goals to finish it off

The other goes to Finlay. He was rotated today but both times he's was on the pitch he didn't put a foot wrong. So strong with his in tackling and recovery. Well done to both

Just a different class today and against a team that have matched us over the last few years. Just shows how far the lads have come and improved

Man of the match had to go to Endurance today. He caused the opposition all sorts off issues with his pace and dribbling and to top it off with a hat trick ⚽⚽⚽
