A huge thanks to Chadderton Football Club for hosting a group of our U10 parents this weekend. The Club kindly donated a hospitality package to a recent charity event (in support of OTW Oldham) and the Dads clubbed together, taking home the prize. Needless to say, they enjoyed the football on offer and made the most of the free bar 👀

With the Sports Hall at Wardle Academy unavailable due to exams, the U10 Saturday team went for a run instead, stopping half-way for a well-deserved rest at Wallis' Hollingworth Lake. Who says football training can't be fun (and involve ice-creams and hot dogs!?)

We had to call off the Sunday, due to the rain - but we've now rescheduled the U9s and U10s: fingers crossed for better weather on Sunday 3rd September 🤞🤞

As some of the originally booked teams can't make that date, we have a few spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis!

Our Under 9s were in tournament action again this weekend….unfortunately losing 1-0 in the semi final of the Saturday tournament at Kingsway and then today losing 2-1 in the FINAL of the Elton and Bury tournament - that’s two losing finalist medals in two weeks no wonder our coaches have no hair left 🤣

In all seriousness the lads are an absolute credit to the football club their work rate effort and desire to play proper fluent football is second to none ….we will get that trophy soon 🏆

Whittles Under 9s (Sundays) had a great day today at Woodbank Football Tournament in Ramsbottom. The lads were superb throughout the day coming top of their group… winning the semi final before unfortunately just falling short losing a closely contested final 1-0 to AFC Bolton in the higher cup format (also only conceding one goal all day)

We go again in two tournaments next week…silverware is coming 🏆
