⚫️🟠 CLUB STATEMENT 🟠⚫️

Tytherington Rocks FC would like to announce an important development in the club's history.

After 88 years of representing the village of Tytherington, we have been left with no option but to vacate our home ground. Despite our best efforts to secure the club's future within the village, a lack of support from the parish council has made it impossible for us to continue operating from our long-standing home.

This marks the end of an era for Tytherington Rocks FC in the village and is a deeply disappointing outcome for everyone connected with the club. For nearly nine decades, generations of players, volunteers, supporters and committee members have contributed to the proud history and success of Tytherington Rocks, making the club an important part of the local community.

While we are saddened by these circumstances, we are also excited to announce a new chapter for the club.

Ahead of the 2026/27 season, we are delighted to have agreed a partnership with AFC Mangotsfield.

The club will move forward under the name AFC Mangotsfield Rocks and will continue to compete in the Gloucestershire County League.

Our new home will be Cossham Street, the home of Mangotsfield United, providing the club with excellent facilities and a secure platform for future growth. This partnership creates a strong and sustainable structure, with first, second and third teams, alongside valuable links with Mangotsfield United and the Mangotsfield United Under-18 pathway.

Whilst we will always cherish our roots and the incredible memories created during our 88 years in Tytherington, this new partnership provides an exciting opportunity to safeguard the future of the club and continue our commitment to competitive football and player development for many years to come.

We would like to thank everyone who has supported Tytherington Rocks FC throughout its history. Your dedication, loyalty and hard work have helped build a club that we are immensely proud of.

We look forward to welcoming all players, supporters and sponsors as we begin this new journey together as AFC Mangotsfield Rocks.
