A really good, controlled performance from the lads. We had the better of the game throughout, restricted the opposition to very few opportunities and, with a little more clinical finishing, the margin could have been even greater.

The Reserves narrowly lose 2–1 against Hambrook & Brimsham United, but there are plenty of positives to take from the opening game of the campaign.

Considering the difficult run of results last season, there were encouraging signs and something to build on as the squad continues to develop.

A really positive performance from the First Team last night. We dominated the first half, creating chances and controlling large periods of the game. The second half was a more even contest, but across the 90 minutes we more than deserved the victory.

A special mention for Dylan Peters, who stepped into a new role at centre forward and played it brilliantly. He led the line superbly, gave us a focal point throughout and put in a performance worthy of our final pre-season Man of the Match. πŸ‘πŸ”₯
