Back with a bang!!
The u14s girls get there league campaign off to a flying start beating bris away 7-1.
The girls put in a great performance and in particular the 1st half with some great football to take the game away from bris.
Goals coming from Alice x2, Bella x2, Lilly x2 and Ella x1.
Girl of the game went to Skye who put in a solid performance in her 1st ever start at cb, winning the ball and playing some great passes through.
Great performance by all and great start to the campaign for the girls

Both blue bears u9s and u10s entered downend tournemeant this weekend and both came out winners winning the plate final in their prospective age groups,a great achievement and a brilliant weekend

So far u10s have made it to 6 finals (including a boys one) out of 7 tournemeants winning a plate and a cup

The u13s entered 2 tournaments this wkd with 2 separate teams playing each day, at downend on Saturday the girls topped a very hard group but unfortunately in the q/f we couldn’t quite find the break through and went out on dreaded penalties, today the other half of the squad travelled down to westbury. After coming through the group the girls upped the level and won the semi final 4-0, the girls took on blunsdon in the final and the girls literally chucked everything at them with blunsdon barely coming in our half. The game went to penalties again and unfortunately came out the wrong side of a penalty shootout for the 2nd time in 2 days, across the 2 days we only conceded 2 goals in 12 tournament matches just couldn’t quite get that tournament win. 6 cup finals out of 7 tournaments for the girls this summer so far which is amazing achievement, penalties can do 1
