Bristol Kongers was founded by a group of basketball enthusiasts originally from Hong Kong in 2022. Regular practices and administrative duties have been carried out by various team member voluntarily. Kongers is preparing to register with Basketball England as a recognised basketball club, looking to participate in the upcoming local league. We welcome any teams to arrange practices or friendly m

atches with us. Recruitment is currently closed, but keep an eye out on our social media as any openings will be announced on those platforms. Bristol Kongers由一班係Bristol生活，熱愛打籃球嘅香港人於2022年組成，球隊有恆常練習，運作初期至今由義務教練、部分球隊成員維持日常訓練及各項球隊事務。

Kongers正準備向英格蘭籃球總會尋求註冊為合資格籃球團體，備戰本土地區聯賽。

我地Kongers 今個禮拜五主場會迎戰Avon and Somerset police,對手係D3算係Top Tier既實力,Kongers絕對會接受任何既挑戰🔥到時見！

26/9 我地Kongers遠征Devizes打今季第一場聯賽賽事, 對手係Devizes Wizard！由上季D4升上D3,遇到既對手都截然不同,實力同身形都好唔同. 對手有好多身形比起亞洲人size起碼大半個,當日我地被對手既節奏同打法令到大部份球員都有過犯纏身,而令到由一開始領先直到最尾落敗！依場係一個好好既經驗,黎緊好好裝備自己迎戰之後既賽事,希望黎緊大家會多多支持我地Kongers！

This is our first game in this season, travel to Devizes against Devizes Wizard. We have experienced a lot of different players and strategies from the opponent in D4, but it could be quite challenging in D3 based on the size difference of player and strategies. Although we lost in our first game, we will take this experience to the future, please support us in the future!

26/9 我地Bristol Kongers終於開季啦！聽日晚上我地會作客Devizes Wizard去到Devizes比賽,夜晚7:45開波！
雖然距離Bristol有啲遠，但係支持我地都有好多種方法，係接住落黎既主場戰希望可以見到大家既面孔！

好耐無見啦咁多位！我地黎緊7月24號會同Empees B有一場友誼賽,會係Trinity舉辦 7-9pm！依段時間Kongers休季期間都無鬆懈,亦都多左好多新血加盟球隊,令球隊既陣容可以容納更多既體系同戰術！希望24號晚會見到大家,黎睇下球隊既新面貌！Empees B隊亦都有啲大家熟悉既面孔, 大家黎支持Kongers之餘都可以黎同我地Bristol HKers既community吹下水！到時見！

Bristol Kongers will have a friendly game with Empees B on 24/7 7-9pm at Trinity college! We had a lot of new teammates to join us in the off season period and bring some new energy to the team to fit for different strategies and styles to play on court! Empees B would have some familiar faces, please come to support us and have a chat with our Bristol HKers Community! Hopefully we will see you on that day!

2023-24 WEBBA CUP (PLATE) FINAL

Bristol Kongers成軍第一年即殺入WEBBA CUP碟賽組別決賽，面對Division2排名第六嘅對手Totterdown Tigers，Tigers陣中有多名高大本土內線球員，其中更坐擁身高超過2.1米嘅柱躉式中鋒，Kongers賽前積極部署，務求以靈活快捷嘅打法迎戰。

比賽初段將比賽節奏推快，第一節曾多次快速起手搏取對手犯規，以Run&Gun打法殺對手一個措手不及，微微領先8分，第二節Tigers以雙塔戰術還以顏色強攻籃底，Kongers內線重創，半場被逆轉以五分之差輕微落後。下半場Kongers繼續受雙塔威脅，內線頻頻失利，更一度落後超過20分，背水一戰之下Kongers調整戰術，以全場緊逼打亂對手節奏，逼使對手做出多次失誤，把握每一次由守轉攻嘅機會，以及內線球員多番拼命式夾擊對手高大中鋒，還有場邊所有黎支持Kongers嘅人一齊為球隊呼喊，讓所有球員拼盡最後一口氣，將超過20分嘅分差追至五分。可惜，最後哨子一響，Kongers以五分之差飲恨，於2023-24年度WEBBA CUB碟賽組別奪得亞軍，並以常規賽Division 4第四名完結本季所有賽事。

球場上從來沒有僥倖，只有堅持才會有成績。Kongers成立嘅初心，係不論成績，不論分數，只求一班同心團結嘅隊友，向住同一個目標進發，本季成功闖入決賽，以亞軍完結成軍以來嘅首個賽季，絕對係超額完成，亦證明係球隊上下嘅血汗同努力並沒有白費。

多謝所有支持Kongers嘅人，你地嘅呼喊同鼓勵係讓我地能夠支持到最後嘅動力，希望下一季仍然見到大家嘅面孔，我地下季見！

我地Bristol Konger想擴建下我地團隊,黎緊7/6，14/6，21/6 三日係我地Backwell體育中心入面舉辦個招募日,想招募各個年齡層熱愛籃球既人,不論底子如何,我地都秉持住一個「人人有波練」既心態係打籃球！未來Kongers都會繼續參加唔同既籃球賽事,繼續延續香港人絕對可以係外國立足同佔一席位！未來希望大家繼續支持Kongers!多謝大家！
