We are a friendly family run Equestrian Centre in the heart of Cornwall.

We welcome riders from outside our yard for lessons with Rachel, we operate a Pony Share scheme, run a professional yet friendly livery yard and our arena is also available for hire, with or without showjumps. If you have your own facilities, Rachel is happy to travel to you for lessons - just ask!! Our professional, friendly team strive to offer a first class service to both horse and rider and are always happy to chat about your requirements - please give us a ring, email or just pop in!!

Whilst Cassy and Faith were busy teaching at LME yesterday, Mandy (our chef coach) and I (Rachel) headed to Tokenbury for a day of Dressage, SJ and XC training for some of our PC members. 18 hours of teaching between us and we were done, after having had THE very best day.

SO much fun was had by the humans and the ponies and SO much was achieved with just the very best company!! Thanks SO much to all of you for coming and for supporting these sessions we put on….we are super grateful to be able to spend these days with you all 🫶🫶🫶

We were super sad to learn the news that the final day of the Royal Cornwall Show had been cancelled today. We had some super sad girls and ponies who were all ready to load and leave when we found out the news 🥺 Really feeling for everyone it affected today, well aware it wasn’t just us 🥺

I am feeling very grateful to have made it for at least a few hours on Thursday to support these superstars….best time and super DUPER proud of them both. 🫶

We have managed to go ahead today and our Saturday Club ran as normal, a bit wet this morning but we escaped the worst of the wind I think. Tomorrow we are off for a full day of Dressage, SJ and XC training for some of our Pony Club members whilst Cassy and Faith teach here at LME 🥰

**** FINAL DAY OF ROYAL CORNWALL SHOW IS CANCELLED. We have just seen the post on Facebook. Super sorry all. Out of our hands****

ROYAL CORNWALL SHOW….

TOMORROW (SATURDAY) some of our LME Pony Club mounted games riders are taking part in a games demo at 4.30pm ISH!! in Ring Two.

The weather is due to dry up at lunchtime and the winds are dropping then too….so even if you can’t face the show in the morning, PLEASE do come along for the afternoon 😘

There will be other Pony Clubs racing alongside us and it should be great fun to watch!! We would LOVE LOVE LOVE the support if any of you would be keen to come along to watch and cheer we would be so grateful 🥰

Friday….

Mandy(our chief coach) and I Rachel had the best day at Cuttery Farm with some of our Pony Club members doing some SJ and XC training. It was such a beneficial and amazing day 🫶 Thanks so much to all of you who made the effort to make the journey …. We loved our day with you all 😘

Meanwhile at LME, our awesome coach Sarah and our amazing yard manager Nat ran a super duper half term fun day. They crammed sooooo much in and the feedback has been wonderful!! Thanks so much to all of you who booked your young people in….we hope they had as much as the staff!!

We just LOVE LOVE LOVE the school hols!! One more super busy fun packed day left tomorrow
and we are definitely going to make the most of it 🫶🫶🫶

Morning All, I hope you are all surviving the heat….i personally LOVE it, but I am aware many people don’t 😂 and nor do some of our horses and ponies, so we have been busy keeping them as cool as possible with lots of cool showers and lots of ice poles for the humans!!

On Sunday we held our Pony Club Area Dressage Test Riding clinic. It was the hottest day of the year so far and we were super busy!! We had a morning full of our Junior riders and an afternoon full of our Seniors. Mandy (our chief coach) judged every test giving feedback and then our riders came in and rode a second test, hopefully with some improvements after their tips from Mandy! We have riders doing the lead rein test right up to a couple of riders who are giving the intermediate test a go which is amazing, plus all the tests in between! Big Thankyou to Lyn who did dressage writing for Mandy all afternoon 🫶

Hugest thanks to all of you who came along on what was the hottest day of the year so far. A huge shout out to all of you, but especially our Seniors who turned up, who I am sure had had plenty of offers to go to the beach/elsewhere on such a beautiful day. ‘We see how hard you are working and the dedication you are putting in to your sport and we are VERY proud 😘 Also the hugest thanks as always to our wonderful PC parents….we love you all 🫶

Warning….super proud post incoming 💖

On Saturday we headed off to the Devon County Show with four of our most experienced games riders. It’s a big atmosphere at this show and they ride in the main ring, so we always have to ensure we have taken riders and ponies that will cope in that environment.

We were racing against some very fast games riders and with only four riders in our team instead of five like the others, we went in there with zero expectations, but I quickly noticed that quiet steely determination amongst the girls that now I recognise in them all too well!! Not only did they race their socks off making us so very proud, they also WON the races by a whopping 14 points!! Proud doesn’t even come close.

We managed one practice for DCS amongst everything else and that was only with three of the team! Lanta had only sat on the pony she took a handful of times before and Harri was not on her usual games pony either!!

We are so very proud of them BUT….what makes us even more proud is the unbelievable support we have received. The incredibly kind comments Mandy (our chief coach) and I received have honestly blown us away. Amazing comments about our incredible ponies, how amazing the girls were and how proud we should be of them. Thanks so SO much to those of you who reached out and were so kind….it means the world and cements that we are on the right track with what we are building here at LME. Also the HUGEST thanks to our amazing Pony Club parents who make all of this possible and a huge well done to all the other teams 🫶

We drove home feeling so incredibly lucky, grateful and inspired to keep doing what we do and really trying to soak in what a fab day it had been. We are so lucky to be able to do what we do 🫶🫶🫶

We have had SUCH a busy day today here at LME in the sunshine . So busy in-fact that the only photo I managed was one of Fishy helping me set a jumping exercise up in the arena early this morning. Swipe along to see how she spent the rest of the day 😂

We have had heaps of lessons today being taught by Sarah, Faith and myself (Rachel.) and some hacks enjoying the beautiful weather.

We also had the loveliest school visit
us for the morning with 15 primary age children who got to have a go at riding, grooming AND meet our farm animals.

We had a super busy ladies membership club riding lesson this evening with 8 ladies riding, plus we provide yummy tea and Prosecco for them….always a lovely evening.

We also had a special birthday party here this evening too.

Best day that ran like clockwork thanks to our dream team of yard staff and coaches. Now we are getting ready for a day of Faith coaching tomorrow plus some of our PC mounted games riders are heading to the Devon County Show. They are taking place in a games demo in the main ring….we can’t wait 😁 If anyone is visiting the show tomorrow we would LOVE the support. We are due to ride at 5pm 🥰

Sarah is here coaching private lessons all day from 9am – 5pm
We also have BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY HACKS heading out at 9am, 12pm and 2pm. Suitable for most ages and abilities

Tuesday 26th May….
All day Pony Club Rally
Adults Lessons as usual in the evening

Wednesday 27th May….
Holiday Tots Club from 10am – 12pm.
Mandy and Rachel are also here coaching all day. Please note these slots are not on Ec Pro currently. Please contact us if you would like to be booked in.

Thursday 28th May….
Julie is here coaching from 9am – 5pm and Cassy is here coaching from 12pm – 8pm.

Friday 29th May….
Cross Country Clinic at Cuttery. PLUS training on showjumps on grass.
Half Term Fun Day here at LME.

Saturday 30th May….
All day Saddle Club with Mandy
