Weekend roundup 🙌

Well done to Kenny & Daisy who took part in Flamingo land 10k on Saturday. Both members won there age category 🦩Well done you two, very impressive.

Well done to all our members who took part in the 7 mile Naked Run around the Barrage today. Thanks to Jimmy & Alison for the organisation and timing of these events.

THE GAVIN DUFFY MEMORIAL 5K IS BACK!

After a long break since COVID, Billingham Running Club are delighted to bring back this very special community event at Cowpen Bewley Woodland Park on Sunday 22nd November 2026 at 10am. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

The event is held in memory of Gavin Duffy, a much-loved and respected local runner. Gavin was a member of Billingham Marsh House Harriers, but his love of running brought him friendships with runners from many different local clubs, as well as recreational runners.

This event is all about bringing our running community together to remember Gavin and support a cause that was close to his heart.

Gavin raised money for many charities including Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice, and we’re proud that 50% of the proceeds from the event will go to Zoë’s Place with the other 50% going to Billingham Running Club's charity of the year NeoAngels.

Whether you knew Gavin, run for a club or simply enjoy running, everyone is welcome. It’s not just about racing – it’s about community, friendship and remembering a very special person.

Well done to all our members who took part in Middlesbrough 5k & 10k yesterday. A shoutout to everyone who managed a PB ! A
Big thank you to our members who wore a blue line band to show support for PC Matt and PC Tom. What an amazing tribute you all made.
