🎃 October Half Term 🎃

A little reminder that the studio will be closed for classes from Monday 26th - Saturday 31st October 2026. 🗓️

We hope you all have a fang-tastic October half term filled with lots of spooky activities! 🧡👻

We are open on Friday 30th for our Halloween Workshop and can’t wait to dance with everyone who is booked on!👏🏻

Classes will resume on Monday 2nd November.

💗 WELCOME TO FRIDAYS, MISS AMY! 💗

We’re so excited to officially welcome Miss Amy to our Friday evening timetable following the October half term! ✨

From Friday 6th November, Miss Amy will be taking over our Friday evening classes. Many of you will already know her from our Saturday dance classes, and we’re thrilled that she’ll now be joining our Friday dancers too! 🩰

Miss Amy has been popping into Friday classes throughout October, getting to know the dancers and familiarising herself with the classes - so she’ll be ready to hit the ground running after half term! 💕

She is a passionate, enthusiastic and caring teacher who loves helping our dancers build their skills, grow in confidence and, most importantly, have fun in the studio! ✨

She’s also recently completed further training with Acrotrix, continuing to develop her acrobatic knowledge and teaching skills in line with our acro programme. 🤸‍♀️

We can’t wait to see our Friday dancers continue to grow, develop and flourish with Miss Amy! 🌟

🎃 HALLOWEEN CHOREOGRAPHY COMPETITION! 🎃

We’re challenging our older dancers to get creative and choreograph their very own spooky dance to “I’m in Love with a Monster” by Fifth Harmony! 👻🎶

This is a chance for our dancers to show off their creativity, musicality and performance skills, and we can’t wait to see what they come up with!

The rules:

🎶 Song: “I’m in Love with a Monster” by Fifth Harmony.

🩰 Style: Completely their choice! Contemporary, freestyle, acro or any other style they love.

⏱️ Length: The dance must be exactly 1 minute long.

🏠 Where: Choreography and practice must take place at home.

📹 Submission: Dancers must film their finished routine and submit it to us before 30th October 2026.

We’ll be looking forward to seeing all their spooky creations and celebrating their hard work and imagination. The winning dancer will receive a Scane Dance hoodie, perfect for keeping cosy during the colder weeks ahead, with the style and colour of their choice.

We’ll share the winner on Halloween (31st October), so get practising and let your creativity shine!
