Biddulph Running Club

Club runs are Tuesday and Thursday evenings. There’s also the option to get together with other club members for weekday runs and weekend off-road runs.

We run for fun, for fitness and to make friends. Some race hard and some run for relaxation. Some enjoy short distances and some just keep running and running... There’s healthy competition amongst those who enjoy chasing a PB, whatever that may be for you. Then there’s the social side of club runs and local races where we like to have a good club turnout both to run & to support. You’re welcome t

Huge well done to both Lee and Samantha for absolutely smashing the South Cheshire 20 Miler on Sunday!

The furthest race in the NSRRA Series and they still made it look easy!

A brilliant run from Lee saw him take the Group C win, meaning he came away with a well-earned Group Winner mug!

And Samantha is incredibly STILL on course to complete every single race on the NSRRA calendar this year. What an achievement that will be!

Fantastic running from you both, well done!

Bank Holiday Sunday? Not a problem for these legends!

Huge well done to Rob, Rachel, Abbey, Leanne, Sophie, Laura and Sam who all smashed the Denstone 10 Miler on Sunday!

Special mention to Samantha, who is yet to miss a single NSRRA race this year...

🏃‍♀️ LYME PARK MIDSUMMER 10K 🐄🏅

Well done to Jen, Charlotte, Jack and Becca for completing the Lyme Park Midsummer 10K on Tuesday evening! 👏

Originally scheduled for 23rd June but postponed due to the heat, they finally got their chance to take on the course — and more importantly, they got their cow medals eventually! 🐄😂🏅

On a much sadder note, everyone at Biddulph Running Club would like to send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Andrew Whittingham, and to everyone at Run North West, following the incredibly sad news of his passing on 11th August.

Andrew was the Founder of Run North West and a huge part of the running community. Our thoughts are with everyone who knew him and all those whose lives he touched through running. 🙏❤️

Massive well done to everyone who competed in a scorching Dave Clarke 5K last night!

Windmill Half Marathon

Massive well done to Laura for absolutely smashing the Windmill Half Marathon on Sunday!

Taking place in Lytham St Annes, the route offers a fast and flat course along the Fylde Coast, with plenty of seaside views and, of course, the iconic Lytham Windmill along the way!

Although Laura's review of the course was slightly more to the point...

"Cracking bloody headwind"

Time: 6:15 PM
Location: Halls Road Playing Fields, Biddulph
Cost: £33 (includes 6-week course, training pack, and full club membership for the rest of 2026)
Eligibility: 18+ only

No experience needed — just a pair of trainers and the willingness to give it a go.
