Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads, stepdads, grandads, father figures, and male role models in our inclusive football family! 💙
Today is all about celebrating the people who cheer us on from the sidelines, drive us to training and bobi leagues in all kinds of weather, help us find missing football boots five minutes before we need to leave, and somehow still manage to be our biggest supporters through it all.
The role you play often goes far beyond what others see. You are advocates, problem-solvers, coaches, supporters, and sometimes superheroes in disguise. You celebrate milestones that others might overlook, face challenges with determination and resilience, and provide unconditional love every single day.
The journey isn’t always straightforward, but the dedication, strength, patience, and pride you show are truly inspiring. The confidence our players bring to the pitch, the friendships they build, and the smiles we see every week are often made possible by the support and encouragement they receive at home. We see it, and we appreciate it.
Thank you for every early morning wake-up, every lift to football, every word of encouragement after a tough session, and every celebration after a great one. Your support, patience, and belief mean more than you probably realise. You help make our football community the special place it is.
Being a football dad isn’t always easy. It involves standing in the cold, pretending you know exactly what the coach and ref is doing, celebrating goals like you’ve just won the World Cup, and occasionally wondering how a pair of boots can smell quite so bad! 🤣
But through all the laughs, challenges, and unforgettable memories, your love and support help players grow in confidence, friendship, and enjoyment of the game. That’s something truly special.
So today, we want to say a huge thank you to every dad and father figure connected to our teams. We hope you’re treated like champions, get to put your feet up for a change, and maybe even avoid any football-related duties! 🏆👏
