Unfortunately we lost today’s game to the new league champions Wroxton Sports Football Club vets and very well deserved. And with that our season and our journey as a football club has come to an end. Thank you all for the support over the last 2 seasons.

Not the result we were hoping for, we had a bare 11 with 1 of the 11 carrying an injury. First half was a very close affair but the second half we lost our way and a very well organised Bodicote vets took full advantage.
We will regroup and go again next fixture. 4 more left until the end is the season.

No much rest this week as straight back in to cup action against Bodicote Sports FC veterans.

What a cup game we had this morning, marsh taking a 2-0 lead before we pulled 1 back before half time to make it 2-1 before HT, second half elmsbrook wasted a handful of chances to level up or even take the lead but then on the 89th min Ian Wilkinson smashed in his second of the game to take us to the dreaded penalty shootout. Luckily we managed to walk away winners of the shootout and book our place in the next round. Thanks for hosting a brilliant game Marsh Gibbon Football Club we will see you again for the conclusion of the league.
