Another incredible gesture of support!

We have just been contacted by Burnbank Loyal RSC, who have raised an incredible £550 through a collection on their supporters’ bus on the way to the last game, in support of the East Belfast 3 and to help towards the legal fees incurred by the families.

The support we have received from all quarters has been truly breathtaking. The generosity, loyalty and solidarity shown by our fellow Rangers supporters has been nothing short of remarkable.

Our supporters really are simply the best!

There truly is no club and no family quite like the Rangers family. When one of our own needs support, our people stand together.

On behalf of Con Club Loyal RSC and the families of the East Belfast 3, we want to say a massive thank you to everyone at Burnbank Loyal RSC for this truly amazing gesture. It means more than words can express. 🤝👏

We also want to thank everyone else who has been in contact and shown their support. We will be publishing a full list of all the clubs, organisations and individuals who have got behind this cause.

🌹Remembering Our Rangers Legends 🌹

William McBeath (1856–1917)

One of the Four Founding Fathers of Rangers Football Club

In 1872, William McBeath, alongside Moses McNeil, Peter McNeil and Peter Campbell, helped establish Rangers Football Club.

William played in Rangers’ very first match against Callander at Glasgow Green and was named man of the match.

In 1874, at just 17 years old, he became Rangers’ first-ever club president, helping lay the foundations of the club we know and love today.

Sadly, William’s later years were difficult, and he passed away in Lincoln in 1917, aged 61.

He was originally buried in an unmarked grave, but thanks to the dedication of Rangers supporters, a fitting headstone was later erected in his memory.

From four young lads with a dream to the Rangers Football Club we proudly follow today, William McBeath’s contribution will never be forgotten.

Peter McNeil (1854–1901)

One of the Four Founding Fathers of Rangers Football Club

In 1872, Peter McNeil, alongside his younger brother Moses, Peter Campbell and William McBeath, helped establish Rangers Football Club.

Peter played in the club’s very first match against Callander at Glasgow Green and went on to become one of Rangers’ earliest captains.

His dedication to Rangers continued long after his playing days, serving the club as honorary secretary and vice-president.

Sadly, Peter passed away on 30 March 1901, aged just 46.

From four young lads with a dream the most famous football club in the world, Peter McNeil helped lay the foundations of the Rangers we know and love today.

🥊🇬🇧 Absolute disgrace! 🇬🇧🥊

Does it surprise anyone that Republican Conor Cooke has pulled out of his fight at the very last minute? Not a chance!

After all the talk and build-up, leaving another fighter who has put his heart, soul, time and money into preparing for battle is absolutely shocking behaviour!

Unless there’s a genuine reason behind his withdrawal, we believe Conor Cooke has shown a complete lack of respect for his opponent and the sport. In our opinion, anyone who treats another fighter like this shouldn’t be allowed to compete again!

Massive respect to Leigh “The Boom” Cohoon for stepping in at the very last minute to face Sean “The Butcher” Weir for the belt this coming Saturday night at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow!

Taking on an undefeated fighter at such short notice takes serious courage, and Cohoon deserves massive credit for answering the call! 👏

There’ll be plenty of the Con Club Loyal there on Saturday night, backing Sean “The Butcher” Weir as he looks to claim another scalp, make it four wins from four and bring home the belt he so rightly deserves!

As a club, we believe Carla Lockhart has taken a principled stand by putting her convictions before party loyalty. Her resignation raises serious questions about the direction of the DUP and the future of Unionism.

The Irish Sea Border remains at the very heart of this betrayal.

No right-minded Unionist who believes in the constitutional and economic integrity of the United Kingdom should be comfortable with arrangements that place barriers between Northern Ireland and the rest of our own country.

The DUP leadership must explain how the so-called Dirty Donaldson Deal was presented as a victory for Unionism when fundamental concerns about the Irish Sea Border remain unresolved.

Who negotiated it? Who supported it? Who gave it their blessing? And who is prepared to accept responsibility?

For too long, Unionists have been expected to swallow compromise after compromise while being told that everything is moving in the right direction. We have heard the speeches, watched the press conferences and listened to the promises.

Enough of the spin. Enough of the excuses. Enough of pretending that the Union has been strengthened when its integrity remains in question.

Our forefathers did not fight the Home Rule battle under Sir Edward Carson simply for future generations of political leaders to shrug their shoulders at barriers within our own United Kingdom.

We deserve nothing more and nothing less than our fellow British citizens in England, Scotland and Wales. Equal citizenship must mean equal treatment.

And let us be absolutely clear, our objections to the Irish Sea Border are not going away because a political party tells us to move on.

The border must be returned to its rightful place, between the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, not down the middle of our shores.

The DUP leadership owes the Unionist people straight answers about the decisions taken in our name and the concessions made along the way.

Carla Lockhart’s stated concerns about the Irish Sea Border deserve to be heard, not brushed aside in the interests of party management.

Our Union is not a bargaining chip. Our British citizenship is not negotiable. And our principles are not for sale.

Well done, Carla Lockhart, for making your position clear.

Ulster deserves answers. Unionism deserves accountability. And the Union deserves to be defended.

No more spin. No more Irish Sea Border.

Remembering Our Rangers Legends🌹

Peter Campbell (1857–1883)

One of the Four Founding Fathers of Rangers Football Club

Born on 6 March 1857 in Garelochhead, Peter Campbell was just 15 years old when he helped Moses McNeil, Peter McNeil and William McBeath establish Rangers Football Club in 1872.

Peter wasn’t just one of our founding fathers. He was also one of the finest footballers of his generation, known for his pace, skill and ability in front of goal.

In 1878, he became the first Rangers player to score for Scotland, netting twice against Wales in a 9–0 victory. He went on to win two international caps, scoring three goals.

He was also part of the Rangers team that won the club’s first trophy, the Glasgow Merchants Charity Cup in 1879.

But Peter’s story would end in tragedy.

After leaving football, he followed his family’s tradition and became a marine engineer. In January 1883, his ship, the St Columba, set sail from Wales, bound for India.

Tragically, the vessel was lost in the Bay of Biscay, taking Peter’s life at just 25 years of age.

His body was never recovered, but his contribution to Rangers will never be forgotten.

Today, his medal from Rangers’ first trophy victory is preserved at Ibrox, a lasting reminder of one of the young men who helped build our great club.

From a 15-year-old boy with a dream to a founding father of Rangers Football Club, Peter Campbell’s name will forever be part of our history.

Gers TV are coming to Belfast!

We are absolutely delighted that Gers TV have contacted our club and will be travelling to Belfast to support the East Belfast 3.

From our club and all three families, we cannot thank everyone involved enough. Their commitment and willingness to help tell the full story means more than words can say. ❤️💙

More and more people are beginning to question the narrative pushed by certain media outlets. To those journalists, we say this: get the full facts before telling half the story.

We have never condoned what happened to a Celtic supporter. But serious questions remain about why rival fans were allowed to mix in Helen Street, amid reports of bottles being thrown, abuse and attacks on Rangers supporters.

In our eyes, this was a policing disaster, and the three lads and their families are paying a devastating price.

We can also confirm that we have submitted a formal complaint to Police Scotland regarding the policing of that day. We will be pursuing answers and keeping everyone updated throughout the complaints process.

We hope Gers TV can screen the tournament final live and speak to those affected, because the full story deserves to be heard.

We will not stop until Police Scotland openly acknowledge the failings we believe contributed to what happened that day.

Three lads. Three families. Only one Glasgow Rangers!

Moses McNeil (1855–1938)

In 1872, a young Moses McNeil, alongside his brother Peter, Peter Campbell and William McBeath, had a dream of starting a football club in Glasgow.

It was Moses who suggested the name Rangers, a name that would go on to become famous throughout the world.

Moses played in the club’s very first match in 1872 and proudly represented Rangers for ten years.

In 1876, he made history by becoming the first Rangers player to represent Scotland.

He also played in Rangers’ first Scottish Cup Final in 1877 and was part of the team that won the club’s first trophy, the Glasgow Merchants Charity Cup in 1879.

From four young lads with a dream to the Rangers Football Club we know and love today, Moses McNeil helped lay the foundations for everything that followed.

Forever part of our proud history.

Red, White and Blue 🔴⚪️🔵

It started on a winter’s night,
When Belfast’s flag became the fight,
From City Hall the word came through,
No longer every day, red, white and blue.

For generations it had flown,
Above the city we called home,
Through troubled years, through loss and pain,
Through summer sun and winter rain.

And so the people took the street,
Through bitter cold and driving sleet,
Not just one night, not just one day,
For months they stood and had their say.

Week after week, the flags were raised,
Through freezing nights and bitter days,
With heads held high, they stood so true,
For the Union Flag, red, white and blue.

Then came the knocking before dawn,
The shattered sleep, the curtains drawn,
The frightened children, mothers’ cries,
The flashing blue lights in their eyes.

Some doors were forced, some men were led,
From family homes and warmest beds,
Some faced the courts, some prison years,
And homes were left with grief and tears.

And still the months of protest rolled,
Through nights so dark and mornings cold,
For every flag held to the sky,
There was a voice that asked them why.

Now years have passed, yet questions stay,
As crowds stand on another way,
And some are called to interviews,
While others remember darker news.

Why did some doors fall in the night?
Was every action fair and right?
If justice serves us one and all,
Then let it answer every call.

We ask no favour, special place,
No different law for creed or race,
Just fairness that the world can see,
And equal rights for you and me.

For months they marched, for months they stood,
Through all the pain, through bad and good,
And though the flag flies fewer days,
Its colours haven’t lost their place.

You can change the rules at City Hall,
But you cannot change our hearts at all,
You cannot silence memories true,
Or take our red, our white, our blue.

The flag may fly on fewer days,
But our heritage remains in every way.
