A few reminders for anyone who may not be aware:
Running G Fit for the last 7 years means working many jobs, every day. I'm a personal trainer, accountant, admin, cleaner, front desk, and everything in between. I alone foot the bill for the equipment, repairs, lights, water, rates, insurance and everything else. I'm on hand every day. I've just taken my first 4 days off in a row in 3 years. Even during the pandemic not only did I endure the stress and uncertainty of my business closing, I had a second job for my mental and financial health. I take 1 day "off" per week and on that day I still go to work and hoover, tidy weights which haven't been put away, do renewals, join up new members and answer calls texts and emails all unpaid. I also do this on every bank holiday, Christmas, Easter, when I'm feeling sick or when something goes wrong.
Please respect me enough to tidy the gym and equipment after yourself, leave things as you found them, renew memberships and send payments in a timely manner, be aware of the day and hour you're texting me or expecting me to respond. I'm receiving texts at 6am, 10pm, on Sundays etc and it's not fair. I'm a person, not a robot. Please try to organise yourself to have membership paid before it runs out. My monthly price is beyond reasonable for the days and long hours I am open to try to give everyone the best chance to train, and for the time I put into it. Paying on time and respecting the gym and me, is not up for debate. I know this seems like a rant but it's getting to the stage where people no longer consider me or my mental health, what I do on a daily basis to keep everyone happy and the impact its ultimately having on me.
