Gibraltar Fundraiser Exhibition 2026.
Where do i start? What a day....!
I guess 7.30am on sunday morning is as good a place as any. I picked the big Natural Alex Aicken up at 7.15am and travelled to the club, were we met the general manager, ivor Archibald.
A function the night before, meant we were setting the room up from scratch.
But we got finished before folk started arriving at 12pm. Massive thank you Ivor & Alex ❤️
Loads to people to thank, but ill start with my wife Marion Dundee of Benkerin Travel for sponsoring our day of darts. Neil Duff, what can I say? There are those that pay lip service when it comes to youth darts.
But then you get the folk that put their shoulder to the wheel and bend the needle. You sir fall into that category. Thank you for the items of Memorabilia and equipment you brought yesterday, raising over 1000 pounds to give towards the lad's.❤️
Mitchell Lawrie 🏴 what a superstar and entertainer at 15 years old💪💪💪. Thank you for coming along with your family. It was lovely to meet them and your manager Jamie, you are certainly in great hands.
Big shout out to your mum lynn, for putting one of your match worn jerseys up for auction. Its found a good home with Empirestar Dartteams very own Jim Jamison 👍
Once again we had the privilege of welcoming our Scottish friends back home to the masa, wullie, the Duke, spoorsy and bingo. Lads thank you for supporting the day and I hope you have a safe journey home. See ya at the next one♥️🏴
On to the darts, where 17 challengers stepped up to the oche against neil and mitchell, but left empty handed. But you did great, cheers for being part of the day ❤️
During our break, we held the Memorabilia auction raising over a grand for the lads. Thanks to everyone who had successful bids, especially to Mitchell's manager Jamie and Wullie Burns, who gave their winning bid items to Alfie McCracken and jai sloan 👍
Our in house ballot collected over £300 quid, again going to the famous five. Then we finished off the break by doing drawing our Gibraltar Fundraiser Ballot, and congratulations to William Brownlees on winning two tickets to the Premier league darts next feb👌 All the other winners will be notified very soon and their prizes delivered in due course. Thank you to everyone who bought books of ballots and supported the cause♥️
We started the second half with a series of competitive matches, Where Neil & Mitchell took on the 5 ( best of 7 )

All the lads played well and gave duff & lawrie a run for their money. Massive congratulations to The Shield in pulling one back for the five, beating neil in a last leg decider, it brought the house down. ❤️ 🛡
We finished up 10 mins ahead of schedule, by thanking all the players. mums and dads, their families and all the supporters who made it such a great afternoon 💪💪💪
Our post exbo entertainment was provided by " TOSH " who kept everyone entertained, until it was time to go home.....
When everything was totaled up, minus costs, we raised £3750 for the lad's. Meaning we were able to present lee, Christian, Tiernan, thomas and jesse £750 each. Give me Substance over style any day ✅️
Our dart clubs commitment to youth darts, providing a safe, secure and nurturing environment to play Darts is stronger than ever. We'll continue to do our best for them while they want to be associated with us.👌
The lads now carry on with their preparations for Gibraltar and we wish everyone in the Northern ireland team, boys & girls every success at the world cup....🏆💚🤍💚
I am off to Croatia now for a well earned break....😎
The day of the Exhibition was our first wedding anniversary, can't think of a better way to have spent it.
