Rest Week 💤

We have received confirmation that the Dragons' abandoned fixture against Ellingham and Ringwood has been scheduled for January 23, bringing to an end a heavy first block of fixtures. The entire squad now has this Saturday off, giving the boys the opportunity to focus on recovery and some much needed family time.

Training tomorrow has been cancelled, with the boys back to business on Thursday evening at Down Grange 👊

Players of the Match - Brought to you by CA Flooring 🤝

Our very own Swiss Army Knife, Tani will do every single job on the pitch - whatever you need from him, he'll do it. In only his second start at tight head, Tani's strength came to the forefront, as he more than held his own against a significantly more experienced front row, while also contributing massively in open play.

With a proper Captain's performance, Rory Kerr was our Dragons player of the week! Despite having two front rowers in the centres, Rory managed the game superbly - 11 points off the boot and an inch perfect double miss pass to put Ben Davenport away for a score meant it couldn't really go to anyone else!

Tani is sponsored by craft_hairandgrooming, while Rory is sponsored by our own Under 15s!

Back with a bang! 💥

A dominant display from our 1st XV saw the lads bounce from last week's chastening defeat, with Oscar Worsfold scoring four of the side's ten tries.

Matt Lingham's final-phase score saw the Dragons claim a losing bonus point in a valiant display against Petersfield, while the Griffins claimed five points as Andover were unable to field a side.

Our thoughts are with Petersfield's injured players - here's to a swift recovery 🤝

We go again! 💙💛

Miserable weather, miserable result. We live, we learn, we move on!

Not our day 🤝

The 1st XV's perfect start comes to an end, as Chichester came out on top on a miserable day for rugby.

Our Dragons fixture against Ellingham and Ringwood II was abandoned with 50 minutes on the clock due to significant standing water covering the pitch. The fixture will be rescheduled in due course.

Finally, our Griffins bore the brunt of low availability, having to concede a walkover to Tottonians III.

We go again!

We joined the wider Hampshire Rugby community in holding a minute's silence in memory of Trojans FC's Jacob Smith yesterday afternoon, having passed at just 19 earlier in the week. Our thoughts are with Jacob's family, friends and all those at Trojans during this awful time.

Now more than ever, it's so important to take that time for yourself, as well as looking out for others around you. There is a stigma around Men's mental health (particularly within rugby), but here's your reminder - it's okay not to be okay, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with asking for help.

Scores on the doors!

Our 1st XV continue their good form with a six try win away at Portsmouth, our Dragons took 70 minutes to get going against Overton, while our Griffins came off second best against a strong Chichester II.

We go again 👊
