These top match anglers all battle it out in a 1 HOUR MATCH, and the 3 with the lowest weights get ELIMINATED ❌
In the first round, we head to Aston Park Fishery, as we watch the Gurus make decisions they’ve never had to make before! Being a 1 hour match, anglers have to be on their A-Game, go 2 or 3 fish behind, and it becomes a mountain they have to climb. Tactics, tricks, feeding and peg draw has NEVER been so important 😅

CELEBRATION OF YOUNG ANGLERS 🙌🎣 Organised by the canal and river trust, the Celebration Of Young Anglers event is one for all young anglers across the country to get involved in!
Whether you’re a seasoned pro match angler or you’re giving fishing a go for the first time, this event is for you! Getting as many young anglers on the bank as possible 🥳
The event will be held on the Shropshire Union Canal in Staffordshire, with the cadet and youth events held on September 12th and the junior events will be held on September 13th on the same venue!
Lots of prizes for all involved. Prizes for the winners on the days, as well as every angler who catches a gudgeon, wins themselves their very own Gudgeon Mug 🪎

THE BANNED METHOD ❌🚨 This method was so good it got BANNED from matches!
Matt Godfrey and Frankie Gianoncelli go back in time, as they head to Hayfield Lakes to fish the FLOATING POLE. A method heavily used a good few years back, but got BANNED.
The challenge is simple, catch fish on a floating pole to see if this method is as good as it used to be ✅
