PB BABYYY 🏃♀️🔥
Today I got my PB at the Southend Half Marathon! 🎉
Over the last 7 weeks, I actually slowed things down because I was feeling burnt out. Instead of pushing harder, I focused on:
✅ Zone 2 long runs
✅ One sprint session a week
✅ Strength training
✅ Recovery
Today’s race proved something I’ve been learning the hard way: sometimes less is more.
We don’t need to destroy ourselves in every session to make progress. Consistency beats exhaustion. Recovery is part of the plan, not a reward for finishing it.
I trusted the process, listened to my body, and today it paid off with a new PB. 🙌
If you’ve been feeling guilty about taking your foot off the gas, let this be your reminder that progress doesn’t always come from doing mor…….it often comes from doing the right things consistently.
Woohoooo! You can do anything you put your mind to. PB BABYYY! 🏅🔥
