Juniors worked on using body mechanics to generate more power in their punches, followed by an S&C circuit 💪🏻

Adults focused on parries, how to use them effectively and how to counter them, finishing with touch sparring 🥊

💥 Tuesday Completed 💥

Tonight’s session focused on striking while moving backwards, learning how to manage distance and encourage your opponent to walk onto your strikes.

We then moved onto a three-person padwork drill, with strikers alternating between pad holders to develop adaptability.

Finished with a kick drill and The Circle of Death to push the intensity right to the end!

Great to welcome another new Junior to the BKA family! 😊

💥 New Junior Coach 💥

Welcome to the Coaching Team Imogen 💛🖤

Having come through our junior classes herself, it makes this a particularly special moment for our club.

She has become an established fighter, competing across the country and representing BKA with pride.

She has also excelled in her role as a Club Mentor, setting a fantastic example for our younger members.

Last year, she was voted Role Model of the Year at our club awards! 🏆

Now, Imogen is taking the next step in her journey by helping to develop and inspire the next generation of BKA juniors.

Congratulations, Coach Imogen! We can’t wait to see you grow in this new role! 👏🏻💛🖤

Juniors worked on their teeps, learning how to integrate them into combinations before finishing with a fitness circuit led by Coach Darren 💪🏻

Adults focused on a couple of different Japanese-style K1 kicks, finishing with a tough Circle of Death 🇯🇵
