Don’t get us wrong, we LOVE a trophy moment. 🏆✨
We love seeing our dancers celebrated and watching all that hard work pay off.

But winning has never been the most important part.

At Elite, we care more about…

🤎 CONFIDENCE
The dancer who finally nails the step they’ve been working on for weeks. The child who walks into class a little more confidently. The tiny improvements that eventually become BIG ones.

🤎 FRIENDSHIPS
The giggles between routines. The hugs before going on stage. Cheering each other on from the sidelines. Growing up together and creating friendships that can last far beyond the studio walls.

🤎 THE PERSON BEHIND THE DANCER
Kindness. Confidence. Resilience. Respect. Learning how to be a good teammate, celebrate others and handle both the highs AND the lows.

💙 UNIFORM REMINDER 💗

Uniform might seem like a small part of dance class… but it actually plays a BIG part in a dancer’s development.

At Elite, we don’t ask our students to wear the correct uniform just because it looks smart. There’s a purpose behind it.

✨ Correct uniform allows teachers to see alignment, posture and technique clearly.
✨ Slick hair keeps distractions away and allows dancers to focus fully.
✨ The correct footwear helps dancers learn technique safely and properly.
✨ Feeling prepared creates discipline, pride and a professional mindset.
✨ Wearing the same uniform creates that amazing sense of belonging — we’re one Elite family. 💙

As dancers progress, the little details become the BIG details. Turning up prepared, hair done, correct shoes on and dressed appropriately for your class teaches habits that go far beyond dance.

Uniform = discipline.
Discipline = consistency.
Consistency = progress. 🌟

Different classes have different requirements, so have a swipe through 👉 to make sure your dancer is ready for their next class.

LONG CAPTION ALERT 🔔

What if we told you that at Elite, the trophy has never been the most important part? 🏆

Of course we love watching our dancers succeed. We love the excitement of a result, the celebrations, the medals and those proud little faces.

But what we care about so much more is the person they’re becoming along the way. 💗

At Elite, we’ve always believed in nurturing our students, not pushing them so hard that they lose the reason they started dancing in the first place.

We want them to learn that success is showing up when something feels difficult. It’s listening to a correction and trying again. It’s practising when nobody is watching. It’s clapping for your teammate when it’s their turn to shine. It’s learning how to win humbly AND how to lose gracefully.

Because there is so much that happens before anyone ever steps onto that stage.

It happens during class.
It happens outside of class.
It happens in the corrections, the repetition, the hard days, the friendships and the commitment to keep coming back.

That’s complete dancer etiquette to us. ✨

We would rather see a child come last having worked hard, supported their teammates and walked off stage proud of themselves, than come first believing the trophy is all that matters.

Because trophies eventually sit on a shelf…

but resilience, respect, discipline, kindness, confidence and character go with them for life. 🩵

That’s what we’re trying to build at Elite.

Not just incredible dancers.

AWARDS NIGHT… OMG, WHERE DO WE EVEN START?! 🥹🏆✨

A night to remember, celebrating the people who make Elite what it is. 🤎

A HUGE congratulations to every single one of our award winners, watching you walk up and collect your awards, seeing those proud little faces and celebrating everything you’ve achieved was just so special. 🥹

But this night was about so much more than the awards…

It was about our Elite family. The dancers, the parents, the teachers, the friendships and the people who continue to show up and support Elite week after week, term after term. We genuinely couldn’t do what we do without you. 🤎

So THANK YOU to everyone who came, celebrated, danced, laughed and made the night what it was.

These nights will always go down as some of our absolute favourites. 🏆✨
