⚽🇬🇧 REMEMBRANCE DAY FUNDRAISER – 1ST BALLYCLARE RSC 🇬🇧⚽
As Remembrance Day approaches, 1st Ballyclare RSC are once again proud to be running our football scratch card fundraiser in support of a worthy cause.
Last year, with the fantastic support and generosity of our local community, we raised funds for the Royal Irish Regiment Charity in memory of our brother, Adam Milton, whose memory will always remain close to our hearts.
This year, we are delighted to be raising funds for Veterans Support NI (AA Veterans Support), an organisation dedicated to supporting those who have served our country and helping veterans who may be facing challenges in civilian life.
Ballyclare, as a town, has always stepped up to the plate when it comes to serving our country. We have a proud history of men and women who have answered the call, both past and present, and many families within our community have experienced first-hand the sacrifices that come with military service.
We believe it is only right that we continue to stand behind those who have stood up for us. Veterans deserve our respect, gratitude and, most importantly, our ongoing support. The transition from military to civilian life isn’t always easy, and organisations like Veterans Support NI play a vital role in ensuring that those who have given so much are not forgotten or left behind.
This is more than just a fundraiser. It’s about remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice, honouring those who served, supporting those still serving and showing our veterans that their community stands firmly behind them.
We would ask everyone in Ballyclare and the surrounding areas to get behind this year’s fundraiser. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a difference.
