⚽ A Good Thursday Test at Allen Park 💙💛
Mossley 2014 FC took on National League opposition at a windy Allen Park in another good test for the boys.
There was little between the sides in the first half, with the Mossley defence and goalkeeper dealing well with anything that came their way. The conditions made playing football difficult at times, but Mossley enjoyed a strong spell in the second half, moving the ball well and beginning to take control of the game.
Unfortunately, just as Mossley were enjoying their best period, Ballymoney found the breakthrough. A second goal followed late on to make it 2–0, a scoreline that didn’t really reflect how evenly contested the game had been.
Despite being on the wrong side of the result, the boys can take plenty of confidence from going toe-to-toe with National League opposition and matching them for much of the game.
