Colts Sponsorship

After a year without a colts team we are up and running again for next season. We had our first session on Sunday and everything looks promising.

We have entered a new Colts league which sees us travelling to Cumbria, Durham, and Cleveland.

We are raising money to get some new pre/post game kit. Polo shirts, shirts and ties as well as money toward traveling to the farthest games.

All Colts players are available to sponsor and we are looking for current or past players to support the player now playing in the shirt they once wore.

Only £30 per player to invest in the future.

🏉☀️ Another Great Night of Walking Rugby! ☀️🏉

A fantastic turnout at Ashington Rugby Club tonight, with 12 players enjoying the sunshine and getting stuck into another cracking session. Unfortunately one of the lads was called away before the finish by the dreaded work phone 📞, leaving us with 11 to battle it out until the end!

As always, we finished with our traditional "last try wins"... and enjoyed it so much we played it twice! 😄

Walking Rugby is all about staying active, having fun and enjoying the game in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The rules are simple, the laughs are guaranteed, and you'll be surprised just how good the exercise is.

The wait is finally over!!!

England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 kicks off their World Cup campaign tonight against Croatia 🇭🇷, and there is only one place you should be watching it!

We've spent years explaining rugby to football fans, so it only seems fair that we spend a few weeks pretending we understand football... 😏

We've heard there's some small sporting event taking place over in the Americas this summer. Apparently it involves 22 people chasing a round ball around for 90 minutes, occasionally falling over dramatically and then arguing with the referee.
Not quite rugby, but we'll give it a chance. 😉

We'll be showing EVERY England game LIVE at The Rec, so whether you're a die-hard football supporter or just fancy a pint and a bit of atmosphere, we've got you covered.

🏉🚶‍♂️ Cracking Turnout at Walking Rugby Tonight! 🚶‍♂️🏉

Another fantastic session at Ashington Rugby Club this evening with a brilliant turnout and plenty of smiles all round! 😃

Walking Rugby is a great way to stay active, improve fitness, meet new people and enjoy the game in a fun, friendly environment. No experience is needed, the rules are easy to pick up, and there's always plenty of laughs along the way.
