The Bike Inn at Appleby trains top-quality bicycle mechanics to internationally recognised standards, delivering the highly successful courses previously developed by Alf & Teresa Webb at the Bike Inn, Lincolnshire. Helmwind Cycles is our service department for all types of
bike - road bikes, mountain bikes, E-bikes, also time-trial, specialist and athletes bicycles. We are proud to be able to offer you our professional services, located on site at the mechanic's school. Book your bike in for one of our fixed price services, and we can advise you if any further work might be required. We will always work within any budget you give us for parts, and are happy to provide estimates for your approval before any work takes place. To save you time, and the trouble of fitting your bike into the car (!) we can collect and return of your bike in the Penrith and Eden Valley areas by arrangement, as well as offering a weekly drop off and collect service for customers in the North East (County Durham, Tyneside, Teesside and the surround areas).
