The final run for Play in the Wild Uk and it was a scorcher, but full of great vibes and running.

A final hurrah from Henley, taking in some beautiful trails, around Bix, Rotherfield and even stopping off for a refreshment at the Red Lion, Peppard Common.

This route was definitely appreciated, with the large parts of shaded woods along the way, but a finish at Viv's in Henley for some milkshakes was just rewards for today's efforts.

Will be sad to close this chapter on Play In The Wild Guided runs, but am always up for a run on the trails, so will be in and around the Chilterns for casual runs. Feel free to give me a follow, or drop me a message on instagram (), if you ever want to hit the trails together.

Run 1 of the Final 3 - Wild times are nearly over.

A beautiful evening for a Risborough reunion with Natalie and Magdalena, who have done multiple routes from here.

Perfect for a social run, treated to bluebells, delightful sunset and bouncing bambi across our path.

After a brutal climb of Whiteleaf, this route gives a lot more back in the mix of twists and turns. Headtorches on at the end to see us home, but just what we all needed this Wednesday eve.

Last two runs coming up, with a final night run from Wendover in two weeks, then our grand finale from Henley for a wonderful adventure.

Play In The Wild has had some amazing adventures, but it is time to bring this project to a close. After taking on the Chilterns Division post Covid, we have had some epic day and night trails, but the finish line is in sight.

I am delighted to see so many people discovering the trails and I am proud to have shared many memories with those that have joined us over the years. Now is time for me to refocus on other projects with family and friends, but I will always be happy for company on a run in the future ( on Instagram).

Come join us, as we wrap up in style, taking on some of our favourite routes in our final three runs.

We kick off 2026 with two night trails back to back, before we add in some daytime adventures too.

Night trails with Play in the Wild Uk are our specialty and we love taking new groups out to explore the trails by torchlight.

You don't have to resort to pounding the pavements all winter, so come join one of our events and build confidence to grab a friend and go exploring yourselves too. It really is a special experience.

Final run for 2025 and treated to a Festive delight from Amersham, for a trail adventure, with a great crowd.

Also got to celebrate firsts for some of our group, on their first trail outing and we had all the types of mud that this season offers.

Finished off with a refreshment at the Elephant and Castle, it was a perfect eve for it and looking forward to many more adventures in 2026.

Hurtwood Hills did not disappoint, with a magical adventure through the various ups and downs of Pitch Hill, Holmbury Hill and Leith Hill.

Half Marathon complete, almost 2,500 feet of elevation and the longest run for two of our group. A great achievement by all, on some tough inclines.

Great to explore a different area today and our last run of the year is our Christmas Classic from Amersham. Trails, Christmas Lights and a pub stop at end, is a great way to round off 2025.

Marlow Moonlight Run - think this will be a regular feature on the calendar, with the experience of the Hunter Moon in October.
