Ahhh whoooo whoo! Darwin has made his debut! Turning his paw to flyball at the age of 9 and joining our summer starter course, Darwin his hit the lanes like a duck to water. He has the most beautiful ball to tug swap and sings us some of the most joyful songs! If there’s any doubt he’s having the BEST time, take a look at his crazy eyes in photos- this boy LOVES the game.

Odyssey had a great weekend at the final Kennet’s show of the season at Anstey Park- the perfect weather and time of the year for festive celebrations in and outside of the lanes.

We had 4 open teams running:
🥇 for Odyssey
🥉 for Olympians
No rosettes but both Titans and Argonauts exceeded their seedings and some pawfect performances from our foundation dogs.

Thank you to Kennet; all our judges, ring parties and the teams we enjoyed racing over the weekend.

Next stop: Darley Moore for the final outdoor show of the season.

It’s travelling day!! The cars and vans are packed , dogs will be loaded, boots and spurs at the ready as we make our way to Uttoxeter Race Course for this year’s champs. We are excited to be back up to full strength and saddling up 4 open and 1 foundation team all fixin’ to join the rodeo- this includes 5 dogs appearing at the BFA champs for the first time.

Good luck to all other teams, dogs and wranglers this year, let’s hope we can rope ourselves some winners- if not, we’re sure to enjoy some toe-tapping, line dancing, bull riding and ale drinking! Let the hoedown begin!

Prep for this year’s BFA champs is well under way, so we can start to introduce our dogs and the members taking part. We wanted to kick off with two of our members who will be working across the weekend: Avril will be part of the Vet Team and Juddy is one of the Head Judges.

Events like the champs aren’t possible without members freely giving up their time and expertise, so we would like to send our thanks to the committee and volunteers!

Our next award is Juddy & Dingerbell who have gained a whopping 30,000 points. We are so proud of them and this achievement. That is A LOT of racing 🎾 A huge thank you to who supplied this award gift which included a racing portrait that was then printed onto a hoodie, proudly modelled by Juddy 😍
