While #77 is undergoing some intensive therapy we thought we'd take a look back at one of our favourite moments from last year.

This video was captured from one of our passengers during our last track day, giving you a quick glimpse of what it's really like from inside the cockpit. From the noise and speed to the braking zones and cornering forces, it's a completely different experience when you're sitting next to Chris, rather than watching from the sidelines!

We can't wait to get back out on track and create more moments like this!

Think you could handle the passenger seat? 😉

The rebuild begins...

Following our incident at Brands Hatch, Truck 77 has now been stripped down and fully assessed.

Unfortunately, the damage is more extensive than first thought. The rear axle has moved sideways, body mounting points have shifted, and the engine and gearbox have moved forward and downwards quite significantly. On top of that, much of the bodywork and panels have suffered significant damage over the course of the weekend.

While we're incredibly grateful that Chris walked away with little more than bruises and aches, Truck 77 hasn't been quite so fortunate.

After carefully assessing the work required and the timescales involved, we have made the difficult decision to withdraw from the upcoming meeting at Pembrey.

This isn't the news we wanted to share, but we refuse to rush repairs or compromise on safety. The team is already hard at work stripping, measuring, repairing and rebuilding, with the aim of returning stronger than ever.

The support we've received over the last few days has been incredible. Thank you to everyone who has messaged, offered help, checked in on Chris, and supported the team. It genuinely means a lot.

The goal now is clear: get Truck 77 repaired properly and be back on the grid for Snetterton.

Setbacks are part of motorsport. How you respond is what defines you.

We'll keep everyone updated as the rebuild progresses.

Post weekend reflection

Well... what a weekend Truck 77 and the team have had. When things don't go to plan, resilience, determination, teamwork, and a never-give-up attitude are what get you through the chaos and we certainly had plenty of that!
This weekend ended up being about the team pulling together when it mattered most, digging deep, adapting to every challenge being thrown our way, and refusing to give up.

First and foremost, Chris is doing OK and on the mend. That's what matters most.
Big impacts into metal objects, and unexpected meetings with gravel are never part of the plan, but thankfully he's recovering well.

As for Truck 77, it's currently giving us the mechanical equivalent of "I'm fine" while very clearly not being fine. It's a bit battered, bruised, and definitely in need of some urgent TLC, but will be back where it belongs soon enough.

Motorsport can be cruel sometimes. One minute you're chasing success, the next you're sweeping up the pieces. But that's also what makes this sport so special. The people behind it, the friendships, the support, and the determination to get back up every single time.

A huge thank you to everyone who checked in, sent messages, offered help, or simply cheered us on from afar. It means more than you know.

Chris: recovering. ✅
Team: still smiling. ✅
Truck 77: currently negotiating with the mechanics. 🔧

Race 3

Unfortunately, Race 3 came to an early end for Truck 77.

After some rubbing and contact during the second lap, Chris was involved in an incident at Druids, colliding heavily with the metal barrier and coming to an abrupt stop in the gravel.

Following precautionary checks by the medical team, a sore but thankfully otherwise okay driver emerged from the truck. However, Truck 77 suffered significant damage and was unable to continue.

With both driver and truck feeling the effects of the incident, Truck 77 was loaded onto the transporter and sent home, bringing a disappointing end to the weekend.

Huge thank you as always to all our supporters, sponsors and friends.

Race 2 Report
After a challenging and eventful race, truck 77 crossed the line in 9th position.

The race was interrupted by a red flag following an incident involving two other drivers. Fortunately, all drivers were able to walk away, and after a delay, officials prepared the field for a five-minute sprint to the finish.

With everything still to play for, the race restarted and the intensity immediately increased. Moments into the shootout, on Graham Hill bend, truck 77 became involved in a multi-car incident that saw four cars spin. Despite the setback, the team worked hard to recover and continue racing.

The final laps were all about regrouping and bringing the car home. Truck 77 managed to secure a 9th-place finish, gaining valuable experience and points from a race that tested both driver and machine.

A few gaffa more tape repairs, some general maintenance and we shall be ready for race 3 later today.

Race 1 Review
A challenging day at the track for the 77 truck in difficult conditions.

The race started with good pace, but several spins throughout the event made it difficult to maintain momentum and track position. Unfortunately, contact during the first lap resulted in extensive bodywork damage, and bent suspension,

Despite the damage, the team kept the truck running and continued to push to the finish. The handling became increasingly difficult as the race progressed, due to prior damage but determination and perseverance ensured Chris completed the race.

In the end, the accumulated time lost from the spins and the resulting damage meant a 12th-place finish. While the result was not what the team had hoped for, there were valuable lessons learned, and the car showed resilience by making it to the chequered flag.

We'll regroup, make the necessary repairs, (she won't win any beauty competitions) and come back stronger for the next round. Thank you to the team, sponsors, and supporters for their continued backing
