Finally the weather allowed the team to train, or should I say compete. Team Vaqueros entered the United Kingdom Skydiving League Meet 1 held at Skydive Netheravon this weekend. So far we had only done 1 hour of training in the tunnel. These were our first jumps in the sky together. Trying different exits and fine tuning our levels. There were some good exits and a couple of work needed, but still fun and great for the team confidence. Result was that we came 2nd in A class. So, a bit of an update since Aug 2025. The team line has changed due to commitments and life changes. So welcome the new line up, Ashley, Polly, Simon, Lou and Dave our cameraflyer. To say the least, the weather has not been kind to our training plans. However, that all changed when Polly, Ashley & Simon were able to get current in the tunnel, thanks to . That all sort the weather struck again. So, quick change and two bookings later we were in the tunnel this time 4 way training. Some levels to iron out but randoms and blocks attempted, some good and some to work on. Not bad for a team only currently flying in the tunnel. We are all looking forward to June and POPS WPC 16.

With great sadness, the team has been informed that the World POPS Competition set to take place in Feb 2024, has been cancelled. The team are working towards 2024 and some other events. We will update you when we have more.

Another days training at Skydive Netheravon. 3 Jumps, would have been more but for a spot of cloud with moisture. Thanks again to our sponsor CSSC .

Team Training from the 23 Sept 23, at . We were able to do 3 jumps with plenty of time to brief, dirt dive, jump then pack, at a steady pace to include a photo session. This was great for us considering the British weather. The team are hoping to get a few more training jumps in before the cold weather kicks in. Some tunnel training is also on the cards.
