🎉 What an incredible summer we’ve had at our MegaCamps! This year was remarkable, with a record number of new athletes joining us! From exhilarating sports activities to making new friendships, it’s been a summer of fun and achievement! 💪❤️

Looking back on another busy and productive week at camp, where we averaged over 2️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ children each day, we offered even more activities and welcomed new attendees! 👯

⛑️ STAFF TRAINING ⛑️

Today, our team participated in an Emergency Paediatric First Aid training course, focusing on essential skills needed to care for children and infants in emergency situations.

Key Highlights of the Training:

- Role of the Paediatric First Aider: Understanding the vital responsibilities involved in caring for children.
- Primary Survey: Learning how to assess an injured or ill child effectively.
- Resuscitation (CPR): Gaining skills in performing CPR, including the use of an AED.
- Wounds, Bleeding, and Shock: Identifying and managing various types of injuries and medical conditions.
- Seizures, Choking, Minor Injuries, and Recovery Position: Techniques for addressing common emergencies that may arise.

This training not only equips our staff to handle emergencies confidently but also reinforces our commitment to providing a safe environment for the children in our care and give families peace of mind, especially as we approach our Summer MegaCamps.

We are excited to be working with Holmer Green First School starting from September for the new academic year! 🙌

We will be offering a Football after school club for School Years 1 & 2 every Friday, which parents can sign up for now via our website! ⚽️
