‘2 out of 3, ain’t bad’🏏

A special mention to Josh Heaton who made his first senior 50 yesterday for our 3rd Team! Hopefully many more to come for Josh as he makes the transition from junior to senior cricket🏏

🏏Spring View vs Euxton🏏

Spring View took on Euxton Friday evening in the final of the Chris Hoy Cup. 🏆

Amy took on coin toss duties, won and chose to bat. Some very good bowling kept Spring View searching for answers on how to get runs on the board. Dominic managed to find a way and Ethan got a very good 18 runs. Alex managed to get a couple of sixes in his 20 runs. Euxton were brilliant in the field and managed to keep Spring View to a net score of 251

Spring View came out to field in some very strong wind, which did not help the bowling attack. Finn and Dominic picked up 2 wickets each and 1 a piece for Ethan, Emilia and Alex. In all Euxton's batting line up proved too strong for Spring View and Euxton had a net score of 300.

Euxton were very complimentary about Spring View and told us we are the best team they have faced this season and had them questioning the outcome a few times in the match.

This has been an absolutely brilliant season for the under 9's, each one of them has put in so much effort throughout the year and you can tell how much it meant to them, with some tears at the end. Let's not have one loss take the shine off the season, they have been remarkable. We are so proud of each and every one of them.

Thanks so much to all the people that made the trip to Euxton to support the team, it was truly appreciated and great for the kids to see the support from others involved in the club. Onwards to next season!
