🚨 With the threat of thunder and lightening ⚡️🌩️⛈️ tonight, I'm afraid we have no choice but to CANCEL tonight's session...

We were hoping the forecast would change but it still hasn't and we can't afford to take any risks with your safety and that of your children...

Absolutely gutted to call it off, fingers crossed for better weather next week and we can get back to it...

Please can you pass the info on and let others know too...

Tonight we celebrate our fantastic Wigan Cosmos Football Club Valkyries after their inaugural season in football in the Wigan Girls League ...

Football is always full of ups and downs but my, my what a journey they're on...

And tonight we celebrate their first ever season in football and not only celebrate their football journey but also as amazing young people and who they're growing into be, who do the club proud, each and every week, it'll be a night full of laughs, joy, singing, dancing and trophies...🏆

All are WELCOME so come join us at St John's Street Playing Fields and make it an even bigger celebration for them, as they pave the way for the younger ones to make their first steps into competitive football, empowering more girls along the way and growing the game...

A lovely evening last night for the 2nd of our Public Assemblies via Humanity Project and Community Organisers, this one held at St John's Street Playing Fields in Abram.

Great to get more conversations from young people and parents. Sarah's paper plates to see the social eclipse went down a treat for young, and old.

Thanks to Juan Pendlebury from Wigan Cosmos for hosting, our Burger host Norman from Bamfurlong Neighbourhood Group , and Lisa Jane Davies and Becca Selby for continuous support and getting the thoughts from local people, and Sarah Spanton from Waymarking C.I.C. for organising the participatory activities
