This weekend the lads are back in action at home against another tough opponent in Parkdale FC. With these being the favourites to win the league this year we know it’s gonna be hard but the lads are raring to go. Hopefully we can get a better performance than the last few weeks suggest. A massive result for the lads today as we book our place in the semi-finals of the Laithwaite Shield Cup 💙

After going 2-0 down, the boys showed great character to fight back and go into half time only 2-1 behind thanks to Paddy Alves.

In the second half, Abram kept pushing and got the equaliser through Keegan Miller after some great link up play with Paddy.

The game went to penalties, and after Paddy missed the first one, Marcus stepped up with two huge saves before scoring the winning penalty to send Abram through! 🧤🔥

Brilliant effort from every single player today, especially bouncing back after losing to the same team last time out.

After a tough test against title contenders last week, the lads came away disappointed but can take plenty of positives from a closely fought contest. It was a game where fine margins made the difference, and despite falling short, the performance showed the quality and resilience within the squad.

Attention now turns to Wednesday’s clash against Hagfold, where the focus is firmly on putting things right. The lads will be hungry to bounce back, build on last week’s effort, and turn a strong performance into the result it deserves. The aim is clear get back to winning ways and secure all three points.
