It’s been a good summer, says Laddu.
Us, humans, are swimming in the background...
We’ve had our swims, our bike trips, our books, movies, conversations and plans.
Laddu has had her sniffs, her playtime, and her important rest.
And as always, she’s been there to remind us when it’s simply time to just be. ❤️
Summer has a way or reminding us how little we actually need to feel content. A walk. A swim. Good company. A quiet morning. The same familiar practice.
Soon the rhythm will change again.
Calendars fill up, mornings get darker and routines return. But perhaps we don’t need to leave summer behind entirely.
Maybe we can carry a little of its spaciousness into ordinary Tuesdays.
A slower breath before rushing to the next thing.
A practice that steadies us.
A moment of noticing what is already here.
(Laddu seems convinced that’s the whole secret).
If you’d like to ease into the new season with a little more steadiness, I’d love to practise with you.
✨ 1–2 August I’ll be teaching a weekend workshop in Porvoo, exploring how the practice becomes a place that can hold whatever life brings.
🌾 Then, on 2 August, our Late Summer Cycle – The Fruits of Practice begins. Ten weeks of Mysore practice, monthly gatherings and a supportive community, carrying a little of summer’s spaciousness into autumn.
One ordinary morning at a time.
If you’d like to know more about either the Porvoo weekend or the Late Summer Cycle, send me a message or have a look through the link in my bio. ❤️
See you soon!
