From Open Water to Divemaster — Bob has grown up at Sly. He completed his Open Water course here, joined the team in 2023 as an assistant technician, and has worked his way up to becoming a Divemaster late last year.

Always bringing energy, jokes, and chaos in the best way, Bob is a big part of the atmosphere around the center. Whether he’s helping guests, prepping for dives, or “annoying” the staff nonstop, he’s usually the reason there’s extra laughter around Sly.

Now as a Divemaster, he’s always one of the first ready for his divers and always brings good energy to every dive day. He takes great pride in the added responsibility he carries being a DM and works hard day in and day out to give our guests the best experience.

Fun fact: if your phone suddenly has random selfies on it… Bob probably (definitely) stole it for a photo😂 (swipe to see)

Calm seas in the morning → strong south winds by the afternoon 😭

2+ hours of prep: gearing up, briefings, loading cars, and heading to Lighthouse… only for the conditions to cancel the dive.

Luckily, we’ve got the kind of guests who can turn cancelled dives into a pool party instead 💜 Good attitudes make all the difference.
