We are a PADI International Resort Association, With a 'Gold Palm 5 Star, PADI Instructor Development Centre', rating. We received a satisfactory approval from the CDWS (Chamber of Diving and Water Sports, Egypt) for the standard and quality of the service and facilities we provide, following their routine Quality Assurance inspection earlier this year 2011 - which is approved according to the In
ternational and European ISO dive standards. At the moment you will also find that we are listed at the top of 'Things to do' in Dahab on the www.tripadvisor.com website. Finally to top all of this off, we have recently been advised by PADI that we are listed in their 'Top 10 Dive Centres' across the whole of Egypt. At Big Blue Dahab, we are lucky enough to have a dedicated, permanent team who are all passionate about diving! Our Instructors, Dive Masters and maintenance crew are all highly skilled and qualified. The team have lived and dived all over the world and bring a wealth of diving knowledge and experience that covers not just the Red Sea, but safaris, cold water, wreck, technical and exploratory diving. We have many dive sites here in Dahab, each unique in its own right and breathtakingly beautiful, and our dive team have a sound knowledge of all of the sites and will guide you around the best and most famous. Emphasis at Big Blue Dahab is on quality customer service in everything that we do, fun and safety and we have a flexible approach so we can strive to meet the needs of our guests, whether that is an individual, group or a family. We also have a huge commitment to protecting our marine environment and regularly run cleanups of our own house reef, and contribute to the PADI World Clean Up events. We keep our dive groups to a maximum of 6 people per guide, and our PADI Open Water Course are kept to a minimum of 4 students per instructor, which makes us different to some other dive centres in Dahab. The center is fully equipped with the latest scuba gear and we frequently purchase new kit, everything from the regulators to the fins, BCD's to masks are well known quality brands. Emergency kit and oxygen are taken on all dives, and we have our own compressor on site and a highly skilled maintenance crew.
