☀️Summer here (January-April) means steady northern trade winds🌬️, creating clean offshore conditions and perfectly shaped 🌊, fun walls to ride🏄🏻‍♀️.

Carina came to Tamarindo with her partner, Dave, and committed to a 4-lesson surf package. In this video, she shares her experience, what she learned, and how each session helped her build real confidence in the ocean.

With personal coaching by Álvaro, Carina focused on proper technique, wave selection, ocean awareness, and consistency. Step by step, she went from catching waves with hesitation to surfing with control and confidence.

This is what happens when you trust the process, work with the right instructor, and give yourself the time to truly learn.

Why turning ↩️gets easier when you go fast 🏄‍♂️💨

When you have more speed, your board glides on top of the water instead of sinking into it. That lift gives you better control and smoother balance. 💪

So when it’s time to turn, your board responds faster, you just lean and the rail slices the wave like a plane turning in the sky. ✈️🌊

Formula:

Slow = heavy and draggy.
Fast = light, smooth, and easy to turn.
