Our founder Viktor Meier took the stage at the ISU Congress to share the journey behind Glice and our vision for the future of skating.

For more than 15 years, we've been working toward one goal: making skating possible in more places, for more people.

Being invited to share that story with leaders from across the global skating community is both an honor and a reminder of how far this technology has come.

Before the conversations begin, there's work to do. Our team has been busy transforming an empty space into a fully functional rink—ready for visitors to step on, test, and experience firsthand.

It's always exciting to see a rink come together, but this one feels especially special. For the next few days, Glice will be part of one of the most important gatherings in the skating world.

What an unforgettable tournament! 🇨🇭✨ The 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Fribourg has come to an end, and we are incredibly proud to have been part of the official fan experience.

Our 100m² rink was buzzing with international hockey fans skating together and celebrating the game right in the heart of the host city festivities. 🏒🙌

The best part? Because it’s Glice, we delivered full-speed skating fun with absolute zero footprint—saving thousands of liters of water and requiring no electricity or refrigeration. 🌍⚡

A massive thank you to everyone who stepped onto the ice with us, and to the Fribourg 2026 team for being world-class partners! ❤️
